Bill Belicheat calls Ronnie Brown the best player that he's seen this year offensively and he thinks that people can't see what he's doing. I can. Obviously, if the sacred vows of matrimony mean nothing to this hoodie-wearing Svengali,do you think hegives a diddly poo about an NFL contract? I guess Wes Welker and Sammy Morris aren't enough for him. Well, that egomanical homewreckercan sayhis sweet talk for Giants secretaries. He can't have Ronnie Brown. Damn his eyes!
http://www.palmbeachpost.com/dolphins/cont...notes_1018.html

haha, soon enough we'll buy your whole team. lol
Belichick knows when he sees a good player. Trust me. I too like Ronnie and who knows, in a year or two he might become a Patriot.

I'd trade Brown to the Patriots for all of NE's 1st round picks for the next 2 decades.... Oh wait its not April Fools Day. lol.
Seriously, so BB has done something bordering on illegal; its not like the league is going to punish him.

If I'm Cam Cameron, I would pimp slap Belicheat if he makes any motion like he wants to talk to Ronnie Brown tomorrow.

He doesn't have to talk to him. Brown himself will come to the Pats without us even asking. I'm sure he would want to have a chance of winning a ring. (and he knows wheres the best place for that)

QUOTE (CelticKing)

ps. everyone accuses them of cheating lol

The alleged Great ones werepunished by the league (albeit a slap on the wrist). I'm no ethics expertbut it might meanthere issome merit to the claim they did some borderline illegal. What? Unkosher. What?Possibly forbidden. What? Against the damn rules! and that's the bottom line.

He said that Ronnie Brown is awesome.
Where is tampering there? Is Belichick the only coach to compliment a player? Where did he say that he was going to try to pry him away from the Dolphins?

What's this about? Why is Belicheat and the Patsies rushing to Ronnie Brown's aid? I don't like the looks of this.

If they hadn't done it and were just standing there laughing at him you would have said that they're evil.
Theres nothing wrong with that pic. They're human and feel for Brown and want to help him.

QUOTE (agoo101284)

So this is just your way of deflecting the talk about your winless team? Right?

Yeah, that's right. No one knows that the Dolphins haven't won a game this year. That's why I started a thread about Wayne H.'s plan for a team evaluation and Beef started one about a plan to rebuild the Dolphins andBAhas threads about trading Jason Taylor and we've been talking about when to starting John Beck. All of that is because the DWOdoesn't want anyone to find out that the Dolphins are having a crappy year so keep a lid on it, will ya?
Iwas starting towish I had kicked the Patriots the last time they had a couple of bad season, but then it occured to me that it wouldn't have done much good. Most of the Pats fans, that like to remind the DWO that the Dolphins are struggling, probably hadn't jumped on the Patriot band wagon yet. They were probably Cowboy fans or whoever else was popular back then.

I dislike the Pats too, but this one's a bit of a stretch. I don't see anything wrong with what Bellicheck said, he's just praising one of the league's best running backs. He's not the only coach to do that and we won't be the last. As for the Pats players trying to help out a clearly injured Brown, if I remember correctly Lawrence Taylor did the same thing when he ended Theissman's career. It's just basic sportsmanship/compassion.

AHHHHHHHHH...those good ole dolphins of 72...hmmm let's take a peek at 'em. it's only fair since shula wants the pats to have an asterisk if they go undefeated...but first, even if there does end up being an asterisk, someone remind shula that the scandal took place in week 1...which would still leave the pats with a better undefeated record(minus the jets game)...now onto reality shula...BURIED IN THE HISTORY OF THE MIAMI DOLPHINS LIES THE SCANDAL THAT STARTED THE ENTIRE DEBATE ...IT JUST WASN'T A DEBATE TIL NOW, BECAUSE THE FINS KNOW THEIR LEGACY IS BEING THREATENED BY THE ALMIGHTY PATRIOTS...The 1970s: The Perfect Season and the Super Bowl Titles
The Dolphins had a combined 15-39-2 record in its first four seasons when Shula, a former Paul Brown disciple who had been lured from the Baltimore Colts after first losing Super Bowl III two seasons earlier to the AFL's New York Jets and finishing 8-5-1 the following season, was hired as head coach. The Colts charged the Dolphins with tampering in gaining Shula, which cost them their first round draft pick in 1970. Shula introduced himself to the Miami press by saying that he didn't have any magic formulas and that the only way he knew to make his teams successful was through hard work.
HOW IRONIC...LOL

Double posting there a bit Undadog? Answer me this, did the fumes choke you any while you were chasing down the bandwagon?
