From witnessing the televised practice last Wednesday, I thought Krstic would be at least 6-8 weeks away from looking really confident and comfortable on the floor.

Stupid me. He was TERRIFIC in his limited minutes tonight, at least offensively. Outisde shot was a thing of beauty. Hit a nice baseline turnaround. Made a quick spin move into the lane and flip pass to a wide open (and unprepared) Magloire. Caught a quick interior pass and laid it up. And on a pick and pop, he unhesitatingly launched a three that hit nothing but net. Had a little trouble defensively on a couple of trips. But if he's half as good offensively when the season starts, I'll take it.

And, most importantly, he's cuter than ever. I would even call him yugo-suave-ian hunky!

yeah curly was amazing today. you can tell hes been away for a while, but boy he reminded us quickly how much better we are with him, especially on the offensive end. hitting a 3 and just having a perfect stroke was great to see. even watching him run down the court he was moving pretty good. you can see hes still a step behind and im sure he is thinkin about his knee. overall i think curly was the most satisfying player to watch tonight. let's see how he feels tomorrow

Magloire would never start over Krstic. That's an impossible scenario.

Honestly I didn't think Krstic looked last week like he would be able to start at the end of the month. I've changed my mind after tonight. Obviously he won't play a lot of minutes in the beginning. (You could see him sucking air tonight pretty quickly tonight after a few possessions.) And as slowly as they are bringing him along, his conditioning probably still won't be up to par out of the gate. But I think you have to put either him or Allen in the starting unit unless you bring Collins off the bench . . . which ain't gonna happen to start the season.

Krstic hittin 3's, perfect from the field. Let's hope his rebounding comes back, tho.

I did not realize FOMW was a woman. I'm quite surprised.

And...Nenad should just shave. Everyone knows he's balding, he just looks funny now.

If Nenad can hit the 3 regularly it will help our motion offense in that it creates some much more room around the basket for cutters and passing lanes.

i think krstic made outsiders remember how important he is to this team. yes he doesnt have a name like kidd, carter, jefferson but the xfactor for us is curly. if he returns to his old form with an improved shot he just makes our offense that much more explosive. he is not a defensive stopper by any means, but the man is a sweet offensive big man who pulls the other teams C or PF out of the paint which creates more space for the big 3 to get to the hole and finish or dish it. if he plays tonight @ boston i hope he continues his good play and keeps takin steps foward and not any backwards.
