Exactly, what didESPN expect from Jimmy Kimmel? Knock-knock jokes? Jay Rothman is an idiot. How else could he not know what to expect from a comic, who has the late night show on their sister network, ABC?(Disney owns ABC and ESPN.)
http://sportsillustrated.cnn.com/2007/writ...mmel/index.html

If they just used Ron Jaworski's copious talents and focused on the actual game occurring on the field, they wouldn't have any problem at all.
I don't dislike Jimmy Kimmel, and what he said was perfectly fine, but there's no reason to have him in the booth.
As a matter of fact, the same applies to Kornheiser.
My dream is that they take all the time discussing the ABC fall schedule, the latest NFL controversies and cracking jokes with comedians and let Jaws break down the previous play with the telestrator instead.
It would be like a four hour episode of "NFL Matchup", and any real football fan would be rivited to the screen if that ever happened.

I never liked Kimmel anyway. I really dont like Tony either, but with the success of PTI, I am sure he draws a rather large audience.

I'm not really a big Jimmy Kimmel fan, but I thought he was pretty hilarious on Monday Night. Jaws was laughing so hard he had to keep turning his mic off. I think a "ban" in this case is just overkill. They should have just chosen not to ask him back and not made a big public deal about it.

If you don't like Kornheister, sign this:www.gopetition.com/petitions/get-tony-kornheiser-off-monday-night-football.html
The form looks a little intimidating but if you look closeyou just need to put your name and state/country.

T.K. Stackmoney, as we call him here in the DC area, is a lot like Garrison Keillor. If you're not "from" Minnesota the Dakotas, or Wisconsin, you wont think Keillor is funny. I don't get him.
If you're not "from" the east coast, you'll find Tony unamusing at best, and unwatchable at worst. Sports Talk radio was his gig in DC and his radio show was better than average, not great. He should have stayed in radio though. Half hour on PTI is all the tv time T.K. needs.

Kimmel zinged Tom Brady? How dare he. The Nerve! He s/b fired this instant & issue an apology for making Gisele cry.
