Oct 19 - Amir Johnson's left ankle injury has been the biggest downer of the exhibition season. Detroit did not practice Thursday, which means Johnson probably won't see action in either of the next two games -- tonight in Dallas and Saturday in San Antonio.

Flip Saunders has said he wouldn't let Johnson play until he was able to practice. He hasn't practiced since rolling the ankle Oct. 5. The hope is Johnson can practice Monday and Tuesday and get his first game action in the final exhibition Wednesday against the Wizards. -- Detroit News
