Dungy challenging 12 men on the field was stupid & pointless. Harrison's catch on the sidleline was interesting. The foot that was thought wasn't down inititally was actually the 1st down. It was obvious to my brother & myself that it should not have been reviewed. I thought when the challenge was first issued thought it was a question of possession. As far as Hayden's INT, it was close. Had he had is entire foot down then his heel probably would have been on the line. It was interesting that the Back Judge (?) tried to over rule the Referee; It wasd the referee under the hood. I doubt he reverses his initial judgement.
First, I think this year's SB was much more free of controversy than last year's game. Overall the refs did a good job of getting the plays right. There were a few exceptions (there are every game), but I think overall it was a fairly called game. The 12 men on a field challenge was done because Manning wanted it to be done. I thought it was an 'OK' idea by Manning, but it didn't work out. He pressed the issue too much. If you can catch the other team with 12 men on the field, then do it, but it was far too close to make an issue out of it. As far as the reviews are concerned, I thought they were all correct. The INT was the right call as was the Harrison catch.
Are you saying that Manning still owns Dungy? You know, like he did near the end of the '05 playoff game against the Steelers. Dungy sent the punt team out and Manning waved them back off the field. I know, I know, it is a moot point coming from a Patriots fan. Who cares, right? LOL

LOL</div> What does your being a Pats fan have to do with anything? Its time to get off the pity wagon. Does Manning own Dungy? I don't think so, I just think Dungy trusts Manning quite a bit - and why shouldn't he? Manning has proven that he can handle an offense extremely well and has made plenty of heads up plays to trust his instinct. He's not right all the time, but he's right enough to give him some authority on the field.
i agreed with most of the calls, if not all of the calls this year. The game had enough problems to need to worry about penalties

To them, anything posted from a Pats fan that doesn't involve something bad about the Pats is a moot point.
