WASHINGTON (Ticker) -- Andray Blatche scored 20 points, rookieNick Young added 15 and Caron Butler chipped in with 14 to leadthe Washington Wizards past Zalgiris Kaunas, 115-96, in apreseason game on Friday night.


Breaking an 18-18 first-quarter tie, Washington went on a 17-0tear, led by seven points each by Blatche and Butler to take a35-18 lead early in the second quarter over the defendingLithuanian League champions.


The Wizards are 4-1 in the preseason and have been especiallypleased with Blatche's play. On Friday, he shot 8-for-9 fromthe field and converted all four of his free throws while addingeight rebounds.


The third-year player, who has never scored more than 14 pointsin a regular-season contest, continues to lead Washington inscoring during the preseason, averaging 12.6 points per game.

Zalgiris Kaunas concluded its three-game NBA tour without a win.They also lost to Golden State and Toronto over the past fivedays.


DeJuan Collins, one of three Americans on the Zalgiris Kaunasroster, had 26 points, eight assists and seven rebounds for theLithuanian power while Jonas Maciulis added 16 points.

Gilbert Arenas and Antawn Jamison did not play for Washington.Arenas, coming off left knee surgery in April, decided to restwhereas Jamison decided to sit out after he turned his leftankle in Chicago on Tuesday.
