Next year may be the last year the Ravens might be able to make it to the Super Bowl. But I can care less because we don't have a future starter at QB for the Ravens. As of now, we have...

Steve McNair - A veteran who is near the end of his career and has enjoyed a great season without missing a game. But he is going to be 34 soon and given his history with injuries, I doubt he can make it through another season like last year.

Kyle Boller - Maybe one of the worst picks by the Ravens since they targeted Byron Leftwich but had to settle with him through a trade with New England. He has starting experience but not many people have faith in him anymore. There are rumors that the Ravens might be dangling him in the market. The Ravens hope to get a 4th round pick at most since he is young and has looked pretty good playing as a backup.

Drew Olsen - He was the #3 QB in his rookie season.

We have a choice to get a QB in the draft (not in the first round) and still be able to address the QB problem later. If the Ravens do get one, maybe we can groom him and let him battle it out with Boller for the position. The depth at QB is a little better this year compared to last year, where they had the top 3 QB's taken within the top 10 picks. Maybe late in the first day, names like Kolb and Smith might be available and we might pull the trigger to pick them. I don't have to worry much given the history of the Ravens draft picks.

    What do you guys think?

That wont happen. If they do, awesome. I still think rex will be great, and in his first full season starting he took team to super bowl. More likely, browns dolhins or raiders will pursue him. he showed well in relief of mcnair.

I think the Ravens should do one of the following
1-1. Draft a QB in the 2nd round in the 2007 Draft.
1-2. Draft a QB in the 1st round in the 2008 Draft.
2-1. Sign a veteran backup this offseason.
2-2. Sign a veteran in the 2008 offseason.

I thuink the Ravens need to starty developing Drew Olson because he is a great quarterback...Check his stats compared to Leinart ad Young, he was better statwise despite facing the same competition at a big name school.

When it comes to QB busts, you can always trust a Bears fan.

I think the Ravens should look at Drew Stanton of Michigan State in round 2 or 3. He's got all the physical tools to be really solid. I think he's the 3rd best QB in the Draft after Russell and Quinn. With some good coaching he could be really solid in my opinion.
