Possibly the best center in the draft this year. From USC, he's 6'3" and weighs 285 lbs. He ran the 40 at a time of 4.96 seconds. Through I still want the Ravens to draft Justin Blalock, I'll be happy either way. I doubt the Ravens trade up to take both since he is projected as an early second rounder. Blalock also benched 40 reps.

Cameron wants to build from the inside out i.e. Center & OG are a priority. I would be stoked if Miami got Kalil in the 2nd.

Otherwise, Mozes from W Va in the 3rd or 4th would be okay too. If the phins got Levi Brown and Kalil or Mozes then I'd be very happy.

There's no possibly about it. Kalil is easily the top center in this draft class. His weight is actually up to 299 lbs. and he's still carrying it well. He's got probably the best blocking technique of any OL in the draft as well.

Btw, Blalock will not be available when the Ravens draft most likely. He just keeps impressing too much. I'd say only Joe Thomas was more impressive than Blalock at the combine from what I saw. I'd say that's true from what I'm reading too. I think that Cincy will consider taking him at 18 especially if Steinbach isn't available. I've read columns saying that Cincy scouts spent a lot of time looking at the OL during the Senior Bowl. I really don't think that Blalock will make it past Dallas though.

Seems obvious Cincy would take them also. After all, they did left Eric Steinbach go to free agency rather than franchise tagging him or signing him. Anyone have anything good to say about Tony Ugoh? I never heard of him but he is a possible second rounder.

Blalock I think will end up in Dallas. Maybe Kansas City. I don?t think Cincy goes guard in the top 20. Guards are rare picks especially that high. This of course is pending trades. Kalil is very hard to project. He's a solid prospect and I think a 1st round type of player but Center isn't that "must have" position and that could be the reason why he falls out of the 1st round. Mike Mayock said something similar and I actually think he's right with that. Pittsburgh could move down and take him as they need a Center. Denver's Tom Nalen is getting up there and Kalil would be a great fit for the Broncos. He?s one of those prospects that?ll be tough to figure out and might go somewhere that?ll shock you come draft day.

Ugoh actually put up an incredible broad jump number for an OL with 9'10". Easily the best result of that drill in the last two years among OL. He's a good athlete, but he's terribly raw in his technique. Some were starting to project him as a late 1st round pick. I'm not there at all. I like Marshal Yanda and Joe Staley both better than Ugoh.
