For that kind of money I'm glad the Packers didn't make a desperate attempt to bring him back. He's declining and isn't worth that much. I like Ahman and wanted him back but that price is just to much for a 30 year old RB. Willis McGahee and Travis Henry are probably the best backs on the market. McGahee is likely to be dealt from Buffalo from what I read for as low as a 3rd round pick.
Henry's going to end up with Denver. This is eseentially a Mike Sherman GM move. You know he's the one who talked the owner into pulling the trigger.
Ahman Green is going to be a good insurance policy, and at least he is going to be the most consistent runner of the texans backfield, because Dayne and Lundy go threw more bad strectches than they do good.

Buffalo overpays for some O linemen and wants to dump McGahee (arguably their best offensive player).
