The stat line after today's game against the Pats was pathetic. Its obvious from his comments that he no longer wishes to be in S Florida so I say give him his wish.
Here are 3 scenarios I've come up with.
1) JT & Miami's #1 in 08 to Dallas for both of their #1s, Julius Jones, & a 5th. JT goes to a contender and it frees up the Boys to get McFadden who I understand they really want not covet like, well... I won't beat a dead horse other than to say what can Brown do in Foxboro? The catch is equitable compensation for swaping #1's... JT for Jones & 5th is reasonable IMO.
2) JT to Seattle for their 1st or 2nd & 5th in '08
3) JT & Ricky to St Louis for a 3rd in '08 and conditional 2nd or 1st in 09. Ricky would be thrown in just to get him out of S Fla... much like Feeley to SD for Cleo.

Is Jason dogging it or should we start taking a critical look at Dom Capers and how he is using Jason? Is Capers using his talent, what little there is, most effectively? I'm aware Capers has a huge reputation, but he can't be allowed to use a lack of talent as an excuse for some of the worst defensive play that I have ever seen. Honestly, I wish Jim Bates were still here because he clearly got his players to play above their heads. Personally, I can't find fault with Jason Taylor being down right now. The Dolphins' front office, from the owner to the coaches, haven't much of anythingto make the Dolphins a better team. (To be fair to Cameron, I'm not sure he has been here long enough to assume much of the blame.) How many years of flat out sucking does Jason have to endure before we excuse him for having a down period? The truth is that playing with the Dolphins has been a big waste of his best years and I'm not that anyone can look at 0-7 and see anything that looks like progress. I think Jason should be a profession and go out and give his best effort, but I can't blame him if he isn't feeling good about being a Dolphin right now. He's only human.

I am aware that the deadline is past. I meant the offseason.
I may have posted here that Capers is partly to blame for not moving JT around like last year. He is usingPorter as a hands down DE. JP55has even played at DT for a few plays amd we wonder why the run D bites.
It is the interviews of JTI've seen whereI get theimpression he's mailing it in.
