The plan was for Tyronn Lue to ease his way into training camp and be ready to play in the final two exhibition games, Monday against Washington at Philips Arena and Wednesday at New Orleans.

    So much for that plan.

Lue left practice before it ended Saturday, bothered by his right knee, on which he had arthroscopic surgery in the summer.

"Lue just isn't there yet," coach Mike Woodson said. "And I'm not pushing it with him. We still have plenty of time with him. I don't want him to think he's in some panic mode to get out on the floor. With AJ [Anthony Johnson] and Acie Law IV, we've got things covered there for at least the rest of the preseason.

I wouldn't be suprised if he gets cut, he's to injury prone to be taking somebody who is working hard spot.

I would like for him to stay, but if he gets cut, I'm fine with that. The Hawks have to many guards as is, and tons of PG's. I would rather cut Johnson, but he has been playing well. Salim has to stay, he is a beast from outside. Also, with Speedy Claxton injured, why not him?
