Krstic/ Magloire / Boone Collins/ Allen / Sean RJ / Nachbar / BRod VC / Wright / Hite Kidd/ Marcus/ Darrell
if we stay with this roster, will we dump Mile Ilic ?
We don't have another roster spot. If we won't, then Hitemight go.
Please tell me how to do it right now? NI, thanks.

Hite's a non-guaranteed, so he'll probably get cut by the beginning of the season..unless we can somehow get rid of Ilic/Brob.
Otherwise, We're stuck with the two, and we lose out on players like Hite and Jones, who have the possibility of actually helping out our team.

Hite has a small guarantee. Guarantees go on the cap.

A number of teams were targetting Ilic. For instance, a day or two after the draft, there were reports that the Heat were frantically trying to acquire a second-round pick to select one of two or three players. One was Taft, one was Ilic. I remember this quite clearly; I was visiting my mother-in-law in Ft. Lauderdale, and read it in the Miami Herald, and reported it on a different forum. There were also reports that Ilic was considered a borderline first round pick by some. The problem is that the Nets felt forced to sign him and bring him over last year when he received a long-term contract offer from a European club. In retrospect, that, not necessarily drafting him, could have been the mistake.

QUOTE (jirohkanzaki)

rob meurs got the spurs manu ginobili at #57 and he gets us mile ilic at #43...

ya and then they probably wouldve sold him for cash like they did with korver and then we'd really be pissed off.
