My neighborhood had voluntary evacuation last night because the fires. Pretty crazy and hard to breathe with all the smoke and dry wind. Anyone else effected by the fires?

QUOTE (Bacon Smeller)

Well take care and hope for the best Shapecity. Have they said how the fire started?

There's 8 or 9 different fires going on. Some were started by downed power lines, but the ones near my place are being investigated for arson. They contained most of the fire directly behind our place, but the fire to the east of me is still out of control. The air quality was terrible today and my car had a lot of ash covering it.
Thanks for the thoughts everyone. The firefighters are doing the best they can and some water scoop planes from Quebec have flown down to help put the fires out.
There haven't been a lot of deaths or injuries (at least not reported yet), but a lot of people have been displaced and a lot of homes have burned.

This fires are really getting out of control. This fires will explain why its orange outside.Awonder whos the idiot that may of cause it CNN was reporting that the police has already check a house on this.

In the past few years when there were fires in SoCal, the air here in Vegas would smell like burnt paper. Oddly, these big fires so close by aren't evident at all from here.
My senator, Harry Reid, said yesterday it was caused by global warming. LOL.
I lived in California 13 years, and every year some big part of the state (lots of acres) caught fire and burned for days. This is pretty typical, just the fires are in highly populated or expensive areas this time around.
Lots of luck to you, shape!

Glad your okay Shape. Pretty bad watching it now on Sky news and they look really bad. Whata F*cking idiot whoever started them. If it was Arson and not the vengeful Global Warming ooh aah

I'm on the other side of Irvine Shape so I'm lucky the Irvine fire hasn't gotten me, but my friends up by Northwood on that side of Irvine had voluntary evacuation on Monday, so I was helping them move some stuff to a relative's house. My heart, prayers, and blessings go to everyone in SoCal right now. Be ok everybody
