<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE </div><div class='quotemain'>LOS ANGELES - The Suns had a great view of the Pacific with a preseason five-day stop in Los Angeles ending Sunday. The Pacific also got a view of the waves the Suns might make this season. The NBA's Pacific Division has seen a lot of Phoenix this preseason with the Suns' opening win in Sacramento and last week's split of two games against the Los Angeles Clippers, the last of which was in the Los Angeles Lakers' tourney. Nothing swayed those in the Pacific ranks from tabbing the Suns as the favorite to win a fourth consecutive division title, perhaps as dominantly as last season's 19-game margin. Just thinking of how good Phoenix has been and then adding Grant Hill to that idea made Lakers star Kobe Bryant flap his lips in wonderment. "They are a machine," Bryant said. "They just plug anybody in there. Man, they just go. They've got a great system and great players. You add another player who can create shots for others and it's going to be phenomenal." The compliments come based on a three-year case study of success, not the recent three-game, four-day stint in Los Angeles in which the real Suns showed up once. With Clippers star Elton Brand out until February, Golden State and the Lakers will be deemed the Suns' division challengers. In 2005, the Lakers were a rebound away from winning a playoff series against the Suns. Last season, the Lakers were 15-6 before being crippled by key injuries. That gives Lakers forward Luke Walton hope that they can push Phoenix. "We definitely think we can," Walton said. "We've got people with one more year under their belts and got D-Fish (Derek Fisher) back, who has been huge for us already as far as practice and calling team meetings and doing the things leaders do and champions do. "The Suns are a very, very good team. It's tough to say if they're going to be better or worse with the off-season moves they made. Grant Hill is a great player. They're going to have to adjust and make some different changes. There's one thing you know: They will be at the top of the league, as far as their record is concerned."</div></p> Source: AZ Central</p>
When I read this article, it sounded like Bryant was interviewing for the Suns. Especially this quote:</p> <div class='quotetop'>QUOTE </div><div class='quotemain'>"They just plug anybody in there. Man, they just go. They've got a great system and great players. You add another player who can create shots for others and it's going to be phenomenal."</div></p> He might as well have said his name in place of "anybody" and "another player".</p>
