It appears Millen has some competition from Randy Mueller.

Its a shame RM was limited in his duty by that Hillbilly Napoleon who used to be Belichick's DC in Cleveland.

They also have Kevin McHale #1 overall when it s/b John Schuerholz... but I'm biased

This thread was meant to be tongue in cheek

Matt Millen is 96th on the Forbes list ... 17th in the NFL. I guess that's why the Ford's are keeping him around.

Is your GM ranked lower than Matt Millen? lol

I am trying to come up w/ Ford joke that I haven't already used.

Other than one of the aformentioned vehicles, I'd be as predictable as Millen drafting a WR with Detroit's #1 pick.

edit- It almost reads like Zack is sticking up for Millen... check, please.

That list is complete crap. Kevin McHale #1? He's a horrible - and I mean HORRIBLE GM. Whoever did that ranking should have thrown it out when they saw McHale #1 on the list. In fact, if he was any higher than #50, it should have been thrown out.

LOL, obviously championships werent factored in at all. Or penalties for wasting players careers by not putting talent around them

Forbes cares about the bottom line. This list is all about GM's that make money for their owners.

It's business ... nothing more, nothing less.

Right. It is so hard to make money in NFL. Especially since you are gauranteed to generate more from your TV contract share than you can pay in player salaries, and realistically in coaches, front office, etc. Thats before ticket sales, etc. So yeah, really hard to make money. If he is 17th, and he isnt in 17th largest NFL market, then he failed even more so probably. Especially since he got a new stadium in his term. Basically, silver platter scenario for him to be top 20, and he is 96th.
