From kffl.com "The Kansas City Chiefs said that while they continue to talk with QB Trent Green about restructuring his contract and remaining with the team, he will be allowed to "explore other potential opportunities in the National Football League" before making his final decision. "
I think the Chiefs will end up trading Green on draft day to move up on a pick somewhere in rounds 3 or 4. I just see the most value from him coming out of that situation. Miami is not going to give the 2nd rounder that Carl Peterson wants and CP is not going to accept the 7th rounder that Miami is offering. They could meet at round 4, but I still believe he will be a draft day trade.
It'd be kind of funny if Miami did not budge and not give up the 2nd... Saban stuck to his guns and extracted a 2nd for Surtain a few years ago when CP wanted to lowball the phins.
<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE (Pack Attack)</div><div class='quotemain'>A 2nd round pick for Trent Green is ridiculous. I'm glad Matt Millen's not in charge in Miami. </div> Wanny was for a few years & Mueller is rectifying things. Both DW & MM have funky 'staches... coincedence?
