QUOTE

"This is the most talented team that I've been on," [Kidd] said. "It has a little flavor of that first year because there's a lot of unknowns, too, when you talk about (Jamaal) Magloire, and just the intangibles. Never look at the so-called solid things that are given. You try to look at the intangibles; you've got guys playing for contracts, you've got guys wanting to play more, and this is a great locker room. So that's what makes this team exciting, because we all want each other to do well."

2004 Nets: Collins (Defense), K-Mart (Athletic), Aaron Williams(Blue-Collar)

2007 Nets: Collins (Defense), S-Will (Athletic), Krstic (Offense), Magloire, Boone(Rebounding), Malik Allen(Blue-Collar)

I think we are much talented than before, Jason is right.

This really is the deepest team in past years. I know we say that every year but we have guys who fiit our needs. Sean with his athletic ability, shotblocking and giving us K-Mart lite, Magloire with his post game and rebounding and DA with his defense and ability to give Kidd some major minutes off. I can't wait for the season to start.

That's very true. Maybe that's because we should make a wait-and-see attitude with this team before making quick judgements like that. Sure, it looks good before the season starts, but none of that matters until they actually go out and play.

Plus, all this depth and all these talented and hardworking players is nothing if you don't know how to use them.

this has the most talent from 1 to 12, but it is nowhere near the best team of the kidd era as we all know. the more dept we have gives us a greater upside than years past, hopefully we can live up to the expectations players and some fans are having of beign a relaly good underrated team. frankly i could give 2 ish about reporters i just want to win and win and win and it all starts wednesday when da bulls come into town.
