Re: NFL: OAKLAND (2-4) at TENNESSEE (4-2) This was like getting in a time machine and revisiting any of 14 games last year. Zero blocking. Lamont Jordan looking for the biggest pile to run into, and finding it 12 times for 16 yards. Is this guy kidding? Isn't Dominick Rhodes over there somewhere?
Mike Williams demonstrating how not to catch a football. Over 100 yards in penalties. Barry Sims cant count to 2 !!! I mean, I know he cant block, but I thought for sure he could count. Robert Gallery with another rendition of his famous "Rusty Gate" blocking technique. If this O line had a nickname it would probably be "The Lookouts".
Culpepper seems to have a "dead spot" on his hand. Seems like the snap from center hits a certain spot on his hand and it goes numb for a second or two. I aint a doctor, but I drove past a Holiday Inn today. OK ? Sue me.
It doesn't happen on every play, but I saw this 4 or 5 times in the Titans game. If we get beat by Houston due to penalties, fumbled snaps, etc. it may be time to put Russell in there and ride the last 8 games with him.
Janikowski IS the offense.
