-- World Wrestling Entertainment still remains a very hot commodity in the United Kingdom. Tickets went on sale yesterday morning at 9 a.m. ET for the April 2008 tour, and the demand was so high the bookingsdirect.com web site crashed immediately. Also the show in Glasgow sold out in less than ten minutes. [Thanks to WrestlingObserver]

-- Just thought you might find it interesting, on my Dish Network guide preview for Cyber Sunday, it says the fans will control the fate of WWE Champion John Cena. [Thanks to Evan]

-- Last night I went to the 80’s Lounge in Worcester, Ma as Capt. Lou Albano was there signing autographs at a comedy show and selling shirts. I was talking with him and his family (wife and niece) and they told me that he is releasing his autobiography, “Often Imitated, Never Duplicated” which is one of his trademark sayings as you remember. Apparently it is self-published and he will be selling it at conventions and on his myspace page. [Thanks to Kevin Desrosiers]

Yeh even though WWE is past it's peak (IMO) they can still pull in the fans.
