The 6-foot-8, 216-pounder led the Big East in scoring last season when he averaged 18.9 points per game and was named to the All-Big East First Team. I can't see Nichols making too much of an impact immediately, unless Shannon Brown stays glued to the bench. Which, I might add, he does not deserve, and Brown really should get good minutes this year. Should, but he might not.</font></p>
I could see Nichols making an impact on this team...since other than Lebron and Newble, he's the only player on the roster fit to play SF. He's probably the 3rd best 3pt shooter on the team, too, so he could help this team out.</p>
Nichols will be a great addition to this team. A great shooter who can come off the bench and produce rather quickly. I hated to lose him in NY but we simply had no room on the roster. (and way to many guards)</p>
