Wow, Kobe missed a lot of free throws he looked bad in the FT line. But he had a good game but this Laker team needs somebody else to step up and help Kobe out more I don't know when we have Lamar this team will improve I'm hoping though.Anyways game over Rockets win.

    Lakers loss 95-93

We got screwed, f that. Kobe was in the shooting motion, he should've had three shots.

Mamba, take your homer glasses off for once. The foul happened before the shot.

The Rockets-Lakers games in LA always seem to have great drama. If the Lakers were close to full strength (a healthy Kobe and Lamar), the Rockets probably lose this game. Houston had troubles last year with the Lakers trapping defense, and that doesn't seem to have changed.

I thouoght the Battier foul was fine, my quarrel is that I thought on the offensive rebound, Alston came across Kobe's arm to swipe the ball and that that should've been a foul, but they usually don't call those at the end of games, so whatever.

The funniest shot was the rebound from T-Mac's shot that Kwmae and I think Turiaf fought for that ended up bouncing on the ground hard then going into the Laker's basket with no rocket player around...I laughed

QUOTE (YourNewChef)

I can't help but notice, but it looks like Kobe is trying to tank and play bad bad ball dispite his injured wrist. He looks very half assed and making braindead plays.

    Kobe Bryant - 32 shots
    Next Highest Laker - 9

Kobe Bryant - 27 free throws
    Next Highest Laker - 4

Kobe was absolutely a one-man show tonight, but what a finish! That was insane. Battier's 3, Farmar's layup, Fisher's jumper, Fisher's steal, the Kobe foul (which was the correct call, by the way)... I mean that was just a ridiculous sequence. I was out of my seat jumping in circles. Welcome to the 2007-2008 NBA season, folks.

Adelman will do wonders for the Rockets. Defensively we know how good they were, offensively they'll get better each game.

The Battier foul was right, and it was a clean strip by Rafer Alston. The ball went straight down, and the replay shows all ball.

Yeah I agree, that was no foul. Kobe felt bodies around him and purposely flailed his body on the way down. That was no foul, Houston won this game fair and square.

Then on that note, my mistake, but regardless a fun game to watch. :]

I don't think Kobe was tanking the game, at times I would see how no other Laker would move without the ball, so I can understand why Kobe took so many shots, although I don't agree with some of them. Can't wait til Friday though, I have a practice to coach then I go straight home to watch the Laker game.

    Look at this way, guys.

We lost to a potential conference finalist in the last minute of the game without our second best player and playmaker.

Not Turiaf...that was Walton. That's the thing everyone is talking about with Walton. Him and Kwame fought for a rebound off TMac's shot, he accidently hit it up and into the basket. They gave the points to TMac, haha.

We could've easily won if Kobe and Kwame hit their free throws. But this makes me feel better knowing that the Lakers can keep up with the good teams like the Rockets without Odom and Radman.

How was Kobe in a shooting motion? If you watched the replay in slow motion, you can see Battier fouled Kobe as soon as Kobe touched the ball and Kobe attempted the shot after the foul was commited. And also, Rafer's strip was clean he hit all ball, Kobe was whining too much at the end.
