What a great game.

It was physical, had playoff intensity and both teams showed a lot of guts and determination.

The Nets earned the victory, because the Bulls play harder than any team in the NBA.

They contest every pass, close out on every shot, and never let you breathe for a second - 48 minutes a game, every game.

Super win for the Nets tonight.

Amen to all of that. Great team win. It's easy to see what the Nets were missing last year with RJ not 100%. And Wright . . . WHOA! I'm happy for him, given how hard he's worked. I hope this is the turning point in his career.

Israel. The game times are really tough. Luckily, there's a teachers' strike right now (been going on for nearly 20 days now), so I can allow myself to stay up till 5 and not worry about waking up in 2 hours.

Wow, Israel? That's cool. First time I've heard of a bball fan from there.

Are you a Nets fan, too? I rarely see you post on the Nets board.

Yeah, Nets are the only team I'm a fan of in the NBA. I lived in Jersey for nearly 6 years, had season tickets and all that ****, so I became a die-hard fan soon enough. I haven't posted much here since I've been busy with my website and haven't really posted much at all. I'm going to try and post a lot more now here.

Israel has a lot of hoops fans, guess it doesn't seem that way when you haven't been there. Actually, lots of former NBA players come to play in the Israeli leaguevisa versa(ex. Marcus Fizer, Will Blalock, Will Bynum, Marcus Slaughter are just a few former NBA players who play in the Israeli league this season and guys like Maceo Baston, Sarunas Jasikevicius and Anthony Parker built their legacy playing for Tel-Aviv).

Wow, I completely forgot about all those players going to play from Israel. In fact, if you were watching the game on YES, they made a reference to Marcus Fizer.

It's great to see you'd like to post more, I'd love to hear more input from a valued poster.

I wish I could actually watch the game, but ESPN showed Dallas vs Cleveland here, so as I said I just watched the GameCast on ESPN.com Not as good, but better than nothing. At least it's real time.

Don't worry, I'll post a LOT more now that the season has started. Anyway, I'm gonna read the morning paper (yup, already arived...5:37 AM, lol) and then hit the bed. Good night guys.

I have to admit, even though I want to remain positive, I did curse at Vince Carter more than once in this game.

I'm not sure I can take another whole season of the roller coaster rides Vince takes us on every damn game!

Just take your dramamine. I love the thrill ride, personally.:-)

Nah, I barked at him for 2 of his jumpers (not the airballs) and mostly for that horrendous turnover to Deng. But his intensity was terrific throughout the game. He was a perfect 12-12 from the line. Busted his tail for a couple of fast break buckets, like so many are screaming for him to do. And the excellent defense he played in a couple of the preseason games was on display again tonight. All in all it's one of the best 6-21 games he's ever played.

Didnt have time to post last night, being as I got home very late from the game. My views of the game.

Kidd- Although he put up good numbers, I did not think he played all that well. He was forcing wayyyyy too many passes and making stupid plays. I think a lot of it has to do with the rust, and he should be back to his old self wihtin a few games.

Vince- DRIVE DRIVE DRIVE- If he drives, hes one of the best players in the game, I hate it when he takes the fade away 3s.
RJ- Nice game all around. Really had a great first half and played great. Hopefully signs to come.

Collins- A typical Collins game. Didnt put any stats up, but played ok. Smart foul on wallace at the beggining of OT. Was it me, or did it feel like he was handling the ball outside more then in the past?

Krstic- In my opinion he may of looked a step slower and alittle hesitant to get to loose balls at times, but thats to be expected. His shot was as good, if not better then ever. He has one of the better outside shots for a big man.

Boki- Hmm. Not his best game, but hes my favorite player on the team. Wasnt finishing the ball tonight. Had 2 or so touch fouls, it felt like the refs were pretty inonsistant. Boki will continue to be how he was last year.

ANTOINE WRIGHT!- WOW! thats all I can say. He played pretty well in the playoffs, but not GREAT. Today he was GREAT. Played great defense and put up 21 points if i recall correct. He shot the ball with confidence and for a high percentage. Hopefully he can keep up even half as good as he played yesterday, and we can be in for a June run.

Darrel Armstrong- This guy is full of energy and plays good Defense. Hes a guy you love if hes on your team, and hate if hes on the opposing team. Will get lots of minutes until Marcus comes back

Jamal Magloire- Eek. not the game you wanted to see from him. In the first half he picked up some fouls but was getting boards and played ok. The 2nd half, he played very bad.

Malik Allen- In my opinion he looked lost out there in the short amount of time he played. There was one play in particular where he was just totally lost.

Boone- He didnt have much of an effect on the game , feel bad for him, he was behind Malik and Magloire in the rotation

Overall I like how we played. I relaly think the team chemistry this year is great. I havent seen a Nets bench ever been so energetic and encouraging.
