Bad Start, Bynum

Andrew Bynum was two hours late Tuesday night and said the traffic was very difficult to navigate.

When he entered the locker room, Jackson walked up to him and asked why he was late.

Bynum knows a fine is coming.

"I only live 11 miles away, too," Bynum said.

    Bynum vs. Yao

Jackson said he couldn't recall how Bynum fared against Houston's Yao Ming last season. But before the game, Jackson said he thought Bynum felt ready for the challenge of defending Yao.

"I'd like to see him have the ability to score and also keep his body on Yao, and have a sense of where he wants and what he wants to do with him," Jackson said.

Yao had 25 points on 9-of-16 shooting and 12 rebounds. Bynum had four points, four rebounds, three steals and three fouls in 19 minutes.

I try to like this kid, but then he turns around and does crap like this. I know LA traffic is a beast, but he should know that living in LA and plan ahead. Someone put Bynum onto Sig alert so this crap doesn't happen anymore.

Completely inexcusable. If you live in that area you should know how crazy traffic can be, so you should, by all means, plan ahead. Hopefully he pulls his head out of his rear though and stops making bonhead moves like this. Cause honestly, if crap keeps happening, he will fall out of favor with Phil, and I'm pretty sure Phil isn't too afraid to limit his minutes completely.

This is the guy management wants to keep and trade Kobe! This is thestiff they wouldn't trade for Jason Kidd? The Lakers front office is a joke.
