This trade would have sent Kobe to Chicago, Ben Wallace and Artest to LA, and PJ Brown with Ben Gordon to Sacramento. I don't like this deal AT ALL. I wouldn't mind the three way with Phoenix IF and ONLY IF we receive Ben Gordon, Tyrus Thomas, and Shawn Marion. We would probably have to give up Kwame Brown in this deal as well. An ideal trade would be this: send Kobe to Chicago, Lakers receive Ben Gordon, Tyrus Thomas, and Shawn Marion, Phoenix receives Andres Nocioni and Kwame Brown. I would love to see a Marion-Odom tandem, however even with this trade, if we can trade Odom (and NOT Bynum) to receive Jermaine O'Neal, I would do so. A piece such as Radmanovich also needs to be included, but I don't know why the Pacers would do that. Then, our starting five would look like this:
PG Derek Fisher SG Ben Gordon SF Shawn Marion PF Jermaine O'Neal C Andrew Bynum 6th man-Tyrus Thomas
A force to be reckoned with? I think so.

Yeah the trade ESPN reported reaks of b.s.
Ben Wallace and Artest on the same team after the Palace Brawl, yeah right.

HAHAHA I didn't even think about the brawl........ nice recall Shape. Yeah, management would hit a new low if they pulled off this trade. My trade up above is the best possible idea for this team.

LOL, I laughed when Ric Bucher was talking about this trade why would Artest and Wallace play in the same team they hate each other.

QUOTE (CelticKing)

So it didn't happen?

Only on Ric Bucher's NBA Live 2K8.

if we did happen to make the trade that lakerman34 proposed then i beleive JO would be starting at center. Center is a critical role in the triangle offense, as shown when shaq was in town.
