well for those who went to the game how awesome did the outside of the arena look today? i was freakin blown away by it. it wasnt just letters spelling out IZOD Center, it had a video running on the screen with the pillars completely painted (last game vs sixers only one side was done) with pictures of kidd and carter on this one side (by the boxoffice). they even had the red carpet rolled out..literally they had red carpeting around the arena. for a team that is moving to brooklyn in a few years i cant believe everything they are doing to make you come out now while we are still in jersey. i got some pix from my phone. post some if ya got some

They should have forgotten about the red carpet and put that money towards doing something about parking. Took me almost a half hour to get from my parking spot to the highway (less than a mile in distance). And that was after some idiot hit my car while backing out of his spot. By the time I got on the highway I had said every four letter word in the book about twenty times. And from what I hear it's the exact same thing at Giants/Jets games. Extremely aggrevating.

Is there a stadium where the parking situation isn't bad?

I've been to enough sporting events and concerts in the tri-state area to know what's it like leaving at the end of the show/game. I wasat a lot of Nets games last year. I've never seen anything nearly as bad as it was leaving last night. Completely unorganized, not enough lanes, other cars cutting in line, etc. etc. I'm not saying that there was just a lot of cars. I'm saying the way they have it set up is extremely stupid. From what I saw, MOST cars parked on the Giants Stadium side. All of them exited from one area that was gated off so that they was only one lane. Never seen that anywhere else.

Basically I'm just really annoyed that the only security guy that was out there refused to move a gate and allow it to be at least two lanes the entire time.

i know what you mean. the parking situation there is TERRIBLE. I'm still in shock and awe that I got out of Summerslam there in less than 10 minutes. last night, they seemed really unorganized. while on a long line, a security opened up a barricade and my dad and I snuck in through there which got us rockin and rollin and on the turnpike within 5 minutes. so, it was about 15 minutes total. but just because we got realy lucky
