    1. Oakland Raiders - Calvin Johnson, WR Georgia Tech
I think this is the best choice for the Raiders IMO. They can try to get McCown from the Lions and draft decent linemen later possibly in the second or third round like Aaron Sears. With Johnson and Moss at wideouts, McCown at center, the only position they should worry about is the RB and defense. If McCown isn't able to come, they can always take a QB in the second round or third.

    2. Detroit Lions - Brady Quinn, QB Notre Dame
Clearly the most polished QB and is ready to play. He can sit the rookie season and learn from Kitna the way Carson Palmer did and play the next season. Many would go with Russell because he's the favorite but not to me.

    3. Cleveland Browns - JaMarcus Russell, QB LSU
Just a luxury pick here. They could still take Joe Thomas or Adrian Peterson but Russell would be the better choice to have as their future QB if Charlie Frye isn't the answer. But this pick may spell the end for Romeo Crennel since he is fighting for at least an 8-8 season and possibly his job the next season.

    4. Tampa Bay Buccaneers - Gaines Adams, DE Clemson
So they didn't get Calvin Johnson. So what? They still get a great player who can start along with Simeon Rice to help with the pass rush and the defense that is aging and struggled last season.

    5. Arizona Cardinals - Joe Thomas, OT Wisconsin
Leonard Davis left via free agency and they need someone to protect Leinart's blindside. Adrian Peterson would also be an option but Edgerrin James could still be the featured back for another year.

    6. Washington Redskins - Jamaal Anderson, DE Arkansas
Next best prospect since Gaines Adams is gone. He can help the 'Skins D-line stop the run and has a great motor which may help since the defense will be on the field for a long time.

    7. Minnesota Vikings - Adrian Peterson, RB Oklahoma
STEAL!!! By going BPA with this pick, they can have a good RB tandem with Taylor and Peterson in the backfield. His durabiliy was an issue that made his stock fall a bit and some teams didn't need RBs at the time just enough for the Vikings to take him.

    8. Atlanta Falcons - LaRon Landry, S LSU
The best rated safety and can start immediately. Can help with the run and pass with his speed and is a solid tackler.

    9. Miami Dolphins - Amobi Okoye, DT Louisville
Taking the 19-year old prodigy is already a good pick. What's great is that though he's not as good a Branch, the age is a plus side because he will be in the league longer. He's quick, knows how to use his arms and hands, and is intelligent.

    10. Houston Texans - Levi Brown, OT Penn State
An underachiever, it may be a reach at #10. But after securing the QB position with Matt Schaub, they might try to look at the O-line and protect him better than they did with Carr. No brainer pick here.

    11. San Francisco 49ers - Alan Branch, DT Michigan*
He can play the NT in the 3-4 defense the 49ers use under Nolan. Though taking a WR would be an option, I think they should look at the defense first.

    12. Buffalo Bills - Patrick Willis, LB Mississippi
Watching London Fletcher-Baker and Takeo Spikes leave during the offseason leaves a huge void at the LB position. But by taking Willis, it fills the hole and the depth at ILB is thin early.

    13. St. Louis Rams - Adam Carriker, DE Nebraska
Though taking a DT is an option, it may be a reach to take Tyler or Harrell at #13. He can be a disruptive player coming off the edge and if they happen to land Kris Jenkins from the Panthers, look out!

    14. Carolina Panthers - Greg Olsen, TE Miami
With Mangum retiring, they need a TE who can catch to relieve Steve Smith and Keyshawn Johnson in the outside. He can be a force in the inside with his 4.51 40 speed and help the passing attack.

    15. Pittsburgh Steelers - Leon Hall, CB Michigan
He can become a starter quickly with his work ethic, experience, and has the skills neccessary to play at a high level as he shown to hang with some top rated recievers in the draft. Linebacker would be an option but they need some help in pass coverage and Troy Polamalu wouldn't mind getting more help.

    16. Green Bay Packers - Marshawn Lynch, RB California
No RB capable of handling the starting job on the roster and Ahman leaving would make Lynch a good option for the Packers. He can be the workhouse back they need and is a dependable reciever out of the backfield. He is good picking up blitzes and is the talent level drops behind Peterson and Lynch.

    17. Jacksonville Jaguars - Reggie Nelson, S Florida
They have had their eye on him for a while and is a ferocious hitter who loves contact. By losing Deon Grant and Donovin Darius aging, it may be the best choice here.

    18. Cincinnati Bengals - Darrelle Revis, CB Pittsburgh
His stock rose alot when he showed his blazing speed and is also a physical defender. He also have returning skills and last time I checked, he never got arrested. Good news for the Bengals!!!

    19. Tennessee Titans - Robert Meachem, Tennessee
Drew Bennett left to the Rams and no one is capable of taking the #1 WR position. What they need to do is give Vince Young more options to throw to.

    20. New York Giants - Paul Posluszney, LB Penn State
He would be rated higher if he didn't tear partial ligaments in his knee. But he makes it up with a never quit attitude and football intelligence.

    21. Denver Broncos - Jarvis Moss, Florida*
He is great when rushing the QB and is a great all around DE. He is very athletic and is able to make QB's force mistakes and turnovers.

    22. Dallas Cowboys - Chris Houston, CB Arkansas
Taking a WR would be nice but they can wait another year. Houston provides aggressiveness, has the physical tools, and instincts to make him hard to pass up. What helped his stock was his 4.36 40 time and his ability to cover recievers like Dwayne Bowe and Robert Meachem.

    23. Kansas City Chiefs - Ted Ginn Jr., WR Ohio State*
Losing Dante Hall and taking Ginn Jr. would be a good pick. The only reason I downgraded him below Meachem was because of his small frame. They need a deep threat and something to complement Tony Gonzalez. He is also a great returner which he showed when playing for the Buckeyes.

    24. New England Patriots - Aaron Ross, CB Houston*
Next in line of Longhorn's defensive backs. His height and arms are just the beginning of what he offers. Instincts and making good reads and judgements while the ball is in the air at a young age will help him develop into a solid starter in the future when Rodney Harrison calls it quits.

    25. New York Jets - Lawrence Timmons, LB Florida State
His sideline to sideline speed helps him cover alot of ground to make big plays. He is agile and can be used in pass coverage but wasn't used much in blitzing. A decent tackler who is usually lined up against backs and tight ends.

    26. Philidelphia Eagles - Brandon Meriweather, S Miami*
Brian Dawkins is nearing the end of his career and taking a defensive back to be groomed is not a bad option. What made his stock fall was his involvement with the brawl against Florida. But he is able to play cornerback as well as safety.

    27. New Orleans Saints - DeMarcus Tyler, DT NC State
An aggressive tackle is what he is. Instead of waiting for the blocker, he rather go to him and has good usage of his hands and is able to collapse the pocket. He is able to line up in multiple defensive alignments which is an upside.

    28. New England Patriots - Ryan Kalil, C USC*
More of a luxury pick than a need. A smart guy who excels in certain blocking schemes the Trojans are known for using. He is quick off the ball and is a competitive person.

    29. Baltimore Ravens - Justin Blalock, OG Texas
Alot of debate on whether to take Anthony Spencer or Justin Blalock makes the choice hard. But I'd personally rather see the offensive line get soem attension and the linebacker position can be addressed later on the second day. He can be groomed to play either guard or tackle which the Ravens both have a void at.

    30. San Diego Chargers - Dwayne Bowe, WR LSU*
Keenan McCardell left and Vincent Jackson needs someone to complement him. It would just help Philip Rivers in his fantastic development as a QB. Has excellent hand-eye coordination after getting surgery and has great mixture of side and speed.

    31. Chicago Bears - Ben Grubbs, OG Auburn
The Bear's line needs younger players on the line. They might take a WR also but it's hard to pass up on him because he can play either left or right guard since he's left handed. He has quick feet and is able to get to the second level defenders to block them.

    32. Indianapolis Colts - Jon Beason, LB Miami
After being raided during the offseason, they need someone to take Cato June's spot. He may fit exactly since he is a sideline to sideline defender and even though he might lack size, he makes up with his firm tackling.

I like who you gave the phins. Okobe isn't done growing, he's smart, & I don't forsee any character issues.

I hope that things work out w/ the Wrights (Manny & Rod Wright). Also, Traylor isn't getting any younger... its a great insurance policy.

Branch, I've heard, does not have the greatest work ethnic and have read (recently) that there are some minor health concerns which may cause him to slip.

Yea you have all the Tigers in the wrong spot. If Oakland doesn't get a decent QB b/t now and the draft Russell is the no brainer pick. If by some chance Russell does slip, it won't be below Quinn.

Laron does not last till 8. I would not be suprised if he gets picked 4-7, depending where Johnson goes.

If Bowe is around at 27 ( which he will deffinately not fall that far.) the Saints would pick him.
But he is the second best WR behind Calvin.

As I have said before... I believe Quinn is a better option than Russell. I know he has an unbelieveable arm and has potential to be a starting QB, etc. But that really scares me. I get images of those who have been disappointments back in the past. The scouts ahve said that Russell is raw too. And I know that they will rush him into the lineup and that can have disasterous effects because of the horrible line and lack of talent on the offense outside of Moss. And Johnson would be the "safest" pick in the draft. Anyways, they can always trade him if a deal comes. Last time I checked, Culpepper may be available by trade or when he's cut so he might reunite with Randy. McCown may head over for a possible 5th round pick. Why would they be so quick to ditch Andrew Walter? Wouldn't that be a bad investment in a 3rd round pick?

About Landry, if the 'Skins do deal Shawn Springs, then yes they will take him but they might trade down otherwise I'd rather see them taking someone on the D-line.

Bowe is possibly the 4th best WR in the draft IMO. Meachem chalked up the second spot though. Ginn went to Kansas City because he has returning skills and they dealt Hall a few days ago.

And I doubt the Saints take a WR in the first round. They already have two good starters in Terrence Copper and Marques Colston. If they do, it may be somewhere around the middle of the draft.

You must be a huge fan of LSU since you asked questions about all three Tigers but not any other players.

BTW, Cleveland may take Adrian Peterson but that's only if Quinn and Russell are gone and I doubt they will be off the board. Arizona have expressed some interest in him but they need to take Joe Thomas to protect Leinart's back.

You just don't know much about Football in the South.

Copper?? a good WR?? he can't even be a solid 3 guy. Colston can be 1 Henderson will be 3 but they need a number 2 WR.

Bowe is not slow, has great hands, and is the most Physical WR in the draft. the Saints if they get jason david can pick the best player at 27 and if Bowe is there he is the best available.

Raiders would have johnson moss and porter with no one to throw to them. walter was drafted in the 3rd round He is not and never will be a decent starter.

As far as Quinn, he is good, he may be smarter than Russell, but he is no where near as talented as Russell. Russell can learn what Quinn knows, Quinn can never learn Russell's skills. and lets not forget how inaccurate Quinn is.

And SERIOUSLY where did you get the idea I am an LSU fan!?!?! stop accusing me!

Chargers did choose an LSU WR... but the second LSU WR. Buster is acctually more consistent than Bowe.
