The outside had gigantic posters covering the height of the arena. The parking situation has totally changed. You do not go through those 3 booths to get into the parking lot anymore. I had no idea where to go. In the past we had a reserved space with a number. And they did an awful job showing us where to go. It looks like they are utilizing the parking structure from what I could see. Theres a new MC and a "helper lady" who were basicly the same thing as showboat, which is really bad IMO. Thats all for now, will update later.

Thanks for the input, as I won't be back in my usual seats until I come back from college.

Those toll booths were atrocious. How in the world do they think that having all of the traffic file into one main snake-road is a good idea?

Yeah, np. I actually find getting out of the arena really easy as I jsut go to Patterson Plank road, and then 17. Its the easiest out of all the arenas IMO

I miss Showboat to be honest with you guys. The new two just don't have it. Did they fire Showboat or did he leave?

I miss the guy who lead the N-E-T-S NETS NETS NETS chant. Actually, I just miss the old crowd.

Are you talking the guy who performed at halftime at the Nets/Knicks game in the 2005-2006 season? It was the last game of the season. He did a rap song and my friends and I could not stop laughing. It was really, really bad so I'm assuming it's not the guy cause he was only there once.

I dunno, maybe it was the same guy? The one I'm thinking of would go the railing in the upper bowl and lead the chant.

I also miss the guy who brought the Nets-puppets to games.

Who do we have now? Some fat gay guy who dances in silk shirt. Downgrade

idk why showboat isnt around, but i do know that the lady who helps marco g (i think thats his name) has a HORRIBLE voice... "c'mon nets fans. make some noise nets fans. yeah nets fans" omfg i wana punch her in the face so hard. her voice is so annoying to listen too and she keeps saying "nets fans" which bothers me too. like we need to be reminded who we are fans of. your purpose is to the get the fans involved not preech that we are nets fans. it just bothers the hell outta me. it shows how fluid showboat was, but i do like Marco G and i think he will be fine once this sidekick girl gets the boot. during the preseason they were switching segments like it was a tryout and thank god Marco G is doing most of the talking.

Showboat is still better than Marco G imo. The chick looks decent but is absolutley worthless with a microphone in her hands.

Showboat could be annoying at times with his obviously fake exuberance (but I guess that's the job of an MC). I can barely understand what the woman is saying, her voice just gets mumbled over the PA, so I completely tune her out. The other guy seems nervous and stumbles on his words sometimes - which Showboat did when he started out, too.

The wrigley's race ... lame. Watching a predetermined animated race on the big screen is an insult to fans' intelligence. At least have 3 morons in big mascot style suits race around and trip over each other.

Time-out entertainment needs to be more entertainment, less blatant advertising.

Sly is sly, and mini-sly is overused. If he was at one game in 10 he might be novel, but now he is just another (fuzzier) Team Hype member who can't do flips.
