Indiana beating the Wizards AND the Heat.
Atlanta beating the Mavs (VERY impressive).
Raptors blowing out the Nets.
Sixers beating the Bulls.
Lakers beating the Suns.
(Brand-less) Clippers beating the Warriors.
Sonics having a close game vs. the Suns.
What the fukc is going on???
Oh yeah, and on a side note, amazing dunk from Kelenna. If you saw it...WOW.

Not to take away from Atlanta, but Dallas was without Josh Howard & Devin Harris.
Adding to the list, I think Chicago starting out the season 0-2 is a shocker to most people.

That Kelenna Azubuike dunk was so nasty. Not only did Chris Kaman get dunked on, but he was owned so badly he had to leave the game to get stitches!

I think the Hawks beating Dallas was pretty amazing.
Also, that Raptor blow out, was not out of wack. The Raptors are a good team who just simply out played and out worked the Nets.

Nothing out of whack with the Raps killing the Nets. New Jersey should get used to that if they plan on playing the way they did last night. The Raps just shot well, played solid D and pushed the tempo of the game. It was an earth shattering strategy, Jersey just didn't put up any resistance, Carter even said that after the game.

QUOTE (Geaux Tigers)

This seems to be a trend at the beginning of every NBA season.

Yep, bad teams often get off to very hot starts and good teams often get off to slow starts. This isn't the NFL, theres a TON of games left and I wouldn't read anything into it until about December.

I would just like to mention that I took Kelenna Azubuike in that GM draft. Great pick by me, I saw the talent there. Now I have a big point guard type thing next to Gordon.
3-9 4-15
Bulls got 3rd place in the East those 2 years starting with those records. The one year where they had a decent start, they ended up hardly making the playoffs (they had that huge rally led by Hinrich, Gordon, and Nocioni where they won like all the games at the end).
Bulls are traditionally slow starters. You'd hope that they'd be behind this. Usually it was because Gordon would get off to a slow start, but Gordon is having his best month of his career so far, and its everyone else not showing up. Bulls also only had one game together with everyone in preseason, and in that game, 4 of our frontcourt players ended the game with injuries. Bulls should be 1-2...as they traditionally beat down the Bucks in November.

It's always like this at the beggining of the season. Last year the Magic started out far ahead of everyone in the east, Jazz won 10 straight games, Bulls/Heat/Wizards couldn't get a win for their life, Suns/Mavericks had the same story as the other three, and the Lakers were un-stopabble. It'll balance itself out soon.
