Maybe they didn't like his draft analysis? [IMG]

"Johnson worked as an analyst for ESPN during the network's draft coverage last weekend. When Carolina selected Jarrett, Johnson remarked he was "much like me" for his size and good hands."

Perhaps too much like Keyshawn. It could be worse, they could have laid him off and farmed out his work to India at a fraction of his salary.

Keyshawn did tell Jarrett to stay in school. Now it seems obvious why he did it.

When the Panthers drafted Jarret, I remember hearing Keyshawn say how excited he was to play with him. Heh, just too much irony for me.

What? Keyshawn is on the Ricky Williams plan?

I think the Panthers believed that he might retire during training camp, because he said he might retire this year. Panthers needed cap room and thought our young recievers were good enough.

    Heres the starting lineup:
    1. Steve Smith
    2. Dwayne Jarrett-2nd round
    3. Drew Carter
    4. Keary Colbert
    5. Robinson- 4th round pick

Thats a little too young for my liking. Colbert has slumped since doing good in his rookie season, and Carter is just a speedster.

The talk in today's Journal/Sentinel is that the Packers are giving Me-Shawn a serious look. That could be interesting. A shame he's not a running back. [IMG]
