NCAAF: OREGON ST (5-3) at USC (6-2) <h3>USC looks to bounce back vs. Oregon State</h3> Oregon State (5-3) at No. 13 USC (6-2) 8:00 pm EDT LOS ANGELES (Ticker) -- Southern California coach Pete Carrollknows his team has not been the same since it lost to OregonState last year. Carroll's 13th-ranked Trojans try to respond to a difficultdefeat Saturday when they host the Beavers in a Pac-10Conference contest. USC (6-2, 3-2 Pac-10) saw its hopes of a sixth straightconference crown all but dashed with a 24-17 setback at Oregonlast week. Mark Sanchez threw for 277 yards and two touchdowns but also wasintercepted twice - the latter with nine seconds left - in thedefeat. Last year, USC had 38-game regular-season and 27-game Pac-10winning streaks snapped with a 33-31 setback in Corvallis. The seemingly invincible Trojans lost again at UCLA later in theseason, and although they went on to win the Rose Bowl, theyhave lost twice this year - including a stunner to lowlyStanford at home. Oregon State (5-3, 3-2) has won three straight games, downingStanford last week, 23-6. Sean Canfield threw a touchdown and Alexis Serna had three fieldgoals for the Beavers, who lost star running back YvensonBernard to a shoulder injury in the second quarter. The Beavers have not won at the Coliseum since 1960.
