6'3 261 lbs Anthony Spencer will be playing at linebacker across from Ware. Has a nonstop motor and is quick to get to the ball carrier. Been watching film on him and he's the real deal. He looks and plays like Russell Maryland. Not a minute to soon if you ask me. Wade Phillips attacking schemes on defense will take full advantage of his speed and quickness which he has plenty of. QB's looked like Hall of Fame material against us after Ellis got hurt so we need him to play now.

6'2 216 lbs Isaiah Stanback wide reciever/kickoff/punt returns/gadget plays. Just unlimited possibilities here. IMO one of the smartest picks we've ever made. Ran 10.38 in the 100 meters in college, just barely off of the record. He is an elusive as he is fast, he knows HOW to run, a precious commodity. He will contribute this year but in a few years this kid will be a star.

6'1 205 lbs Courtney Brown Nickle C/B probably pushs Aaron Glenn out the door. Did not allow any TD receptions in his last two years at Cal Poly which aint the NFL but still pretty impressive. Price was right to---a 7th rounder .

The OL we got is developmental as is the rest, except the kicker and if we keep him he just kicks off anyway, supposed to have a cannon for a leg.

    JMO thanks for reading it.

Good analysis. I think the Cowboys will take their division this year. I have a feeling Romo will really shine and Cowboys fans will be impressed.

Spencer will be good - no doubt. Possible DROY.

Stanback will be okay as long as he doesn't play QB. The few U of Washington games I saw over the last 2 yrs, IS was terrible and I'm being kind.

Yea and it also depends on if he gets over his lis franc injury and can run wide open or if he is still hobbled somewhat and still trys to play. He may be a project after all is said and done. I still like his chances though.

I dont know anyone who has a clue about football that is "sold" on him. This year will be the acid test for him. Now the new has worn off and defenses have had a look at him and can scheme him and play to his weaknesses. By the same token he will make better shoices and his reads will come faster as the game slows down for him. He will have more tools on offense because now more plays can be added to the game plans instead of the watered down version we had last year to make it easier for him. All in all it will be about his leadership on the field and having the other players believe he can lead them to the playoffs and maybe more. He has seen adversity such as the bobble in the Seattle game and udoubtedly seen that life goes on. I just wish we had taken Brady Quinn just in case this whole thing with Romo comes down around our ears.

Rumor is; BQ is struggling in his 1st minicamp.

I agree that this will be the true test for Romo. Curious; who is the Boys #2 now that Bledsoe has retired?

Courtney Brown has been making a name for himself at TC this year. Marteen could be Flozell Adam's future replacement 1 or 2 years down the road.

Slightly off-topic: MB3 got the majority of the reps with the first-team offense at today's camp. While this doesn't affect our most recent draftees, if we don't resign JJ then we could be looking at McFadden next year.
