I think mcnabb gets the message. while athletes do get hurt from time to time, three years in a row is starting to wear on the team as a whole, too many missed opportunities. the eagles are still a team that is well put together, well coached, great ownership and frenzied fans but patience hasn't worn this thin in a long time. if mcnabb stays healthy he's in but if he gets hurt again or screws up i bet theres a change. by the way, i like mcnabb and how he keeps a positive attitude even when attacked time and time again. however the drafting of kolb was a warning shot across the bow of the u.s.s. mcnabb and he heard it, as did the whole nfl. this could be just what he needs or it could tear him down if he gets off to a bad start. whatever happens i bet he handles it with class. jmo thanks for reading it.

p.s. by the way thanks to philly for the assist in the draft the other day. we drafted olb/pass rush demon chris spencer out of purdue and you got a qb to replace mcnabb when spencer splatters him or chases him to demarcus ware who splatters him. then it will be all to easy to write mcnabbs eulogy and move on.[IMG]

Who were the Eagles going to turn the reigns over to when McNabb calls it a career? Feeley? Yeah, right.

First, New England trades w/ the phins for Welker then Dallas and Philly trade. Those were shocking enough. Its when the Pack & Bears trade that I'll know the end is near

Mcnabb might of been shocked but he should of known it was coming...Mcnabb is not only getting older every year but a little more voulnrable to injuries....No matter what happens Mcnabb will be the strater this year next year and the year after...unless he has carrear ending injury or something. Why will he still be in??? because while he does get hurt and somtimes is in the mits of allot of bad publicity above all he gets the job done...and thats all that really matters. Playoffs the past 7 out of 8 seasons, hes had an rate above 75 in all seasons excluding his rookie year, also over 10 touchdown passes in all of them 7 seasons, with a percentage above 55 in all 7 of them seasons...my main point is the man gets the job done...and even though people on this forum and around the world dont give him respect for throwing up in the superbowl...it doesent matter how many jokes you throw out...or "burns" you dish, no one can take away that the man comes in every year and gets the job done, hurt or not.

Well he shouldn't be IMO. Once he has a year where he stays healthy all year round they might be able to make a super bowl run again. The one year he did that is what they did.
