Yeah, geeze. I guess any team can look great one night. I'm really surprised at Bargs and Bosh co-0fer's.

Holy this is a disgusting game full of turnovers and not many made shots from both sides. Good thing is the Raps are only down by 7 at the half which is a capable gap to close, thats only if their offense turns a 180.

Considering we’re only down by 7 right now, we just won the lotto.

-TJ Ford despite the great stat line is killing our offense. We didn’t go out and get a bunch of shooters so our mentally challenged starting pg could run around in circles and jack up shots. We need better movement off the ball and better facilitation of ball movement.

-Sam Mitchell needs to do his job. Did we even take a timeout in the first half? We were getting run over out of that timeout by Boston and we didn’t even make any adjustments. We didn’t even get the ball inside to Bosh or Bargnani at one point when Boston had like one big man in the game. Stupidity.

I wouldnt blame TJ, he started off great, passed the ball around but it just looked like no one wanted it on offense so they kept passing it back and he was making his shots so if anything hes keep our team in it. Maybe if he was more passive we could get our offense flowing but so far it doesnt look like he has a choice.

I agree a13x, the Raptors only made two 3 pointers in the 1st half are only down by 3 or 4 baskets. Raptors aren't going to continue shooting just 27% from the field with Bosh and Bargnani a combined 0-12 in this game. If one or both get going they should pull out a victory. Fantastic job by Boston's defense though. This is an ugly game and ugly games favor them.

    Ugly, ugly half.

But honestly, you do have to optimistic about the fact that we're only down by 7. This Boston team still looks very beatable. But we need to start moving the ball better and sinking shots. Our defense has been very good and we've already got Rondo in foul trouble, so Calderon/Ford need to exploit that in the next half. But really, Bosh and Bargnani should be hitting most of the shots they've missed. They've had quality looks but have just botched them.

How awesome is Carlos Delfino? You could make an argument that he's been our best all-around player so far this season and he's certainly been our most dependable. The dude came in and just sparked our team on both sides of the floor. And on that note, I really disagree with Mitchell having Kapono in the starting lineup this game. He's such a liability against Ray Allen and when he's not hitting his shots (like today), he's a total non-factor.

Bargnani's played excellent D on Garnett. I'm really, really surprised by that. When I saw them matched up against each other in the beginning of the game, I thought it'd get ugly. But he's held his own and limited KG to only 6 points. And then you have to acknowledge his job on the boards (8 boards in the first half). He just needs to step it up on offense.

a13x, I feel really sorry for you. Listening to Tommy H for an entire game is the worst type of torture.

Hey, I'm just listening to the game, but looking at the boxscore it looks like TJ is getting all the shots, similar to what the Nets did to the Raps in the postseason. Does that seem to be the strategy or is it just going that way?

Yea, he's shooting far too much. Originally, I wasn't against it because he was distributing the ball and absolutely no one was stepping up. I think he scored 8 of our first 16 points and we were only generating offense with the ball in his hands. But he needs to recognize that the Raps will eventually start making shots as long as he gets back to moving the ball and initiating motion. He never made that adjustment as the game went on.

First time im seeing Delfino play as a Raptor, and im really impressed, hes playing Ray Allen as tight on defense as anyone not giving him any breathing room and then on offense he sparked a Raptors mini run with back to back 3s.

When I was watching the first half it kindof did remind me of playing the Nets in the playoffs as everyone is rushing their shots and trying to shoot their way out of the slump, were not swinging the ball around the perimeter like we usually do, instead players are looking to create their own shots which is really killing us.
