I know we're three games in but it has been a long time since the Wizards have played this badly. It seems like we're not putting in consistent effort for 48 minutes which we have struggled doing before but now we're playing very streaky basketball. Our defense has only gotten worse, now we aren't coming up with the occasional steal for a fast break bucket which was useful last season but we're still allowing wide open three's (E.C. Rashard Lewis, Entire Celtics team). Gilbert Arenas and Antawn Jamison look awful. Gilbert is making tons of stupid turnovers and struggling shooting the ball while Antawn can't even hit wide open jumpers. The bench production has been little to none, Darius Songaila may have the lowest basketball IQ in the NBA. Eddie Jordan has been making dumb substitutions including putting a very weak offensive lineup on the floor when the Wizards were only up three in the fourth quarter. Andray Blatche, who played terrific basketball in the pre-season and training camp, is hardly getting playing time. Oleksiy Pecherov out for 6 weeks with an ankle twist. Chuck/Larry (Nick/Dominic) getting few minutes but are in fact impressing with the minutes they're getting. Antonio Daniels has been quiet after a terrific playoff performance last season. Caron Butler and Brendan Haywood have been the bright side however. Both are playing terrific basketball but Haywood is known to string together good and bad games. Lastly, the overall energy seems low. The emotion we had last season is lacking which may be leaving us with less motivation on the defensive end of the floor. Hopefully the Wizards can put their shit together for New Jersey on my birthday because these first 3 games have been far from a pleasure.

Its also a long time since they've played together.

They are a better team than their record, just give it some time.

Compared to everyone else, we haven't played together for only about 2-3 weeks more. Shouldn't make us play this badly.

Arenas is cold, Jamison is cold, once they work out the kinks there they'll be fine. Blatche not playing a lot is a bit worrisome though.

Yeah, IMO, Blatche should get minutes. Looks like they're missing Etan.

Oh well, don't get too worried. The Bulls and the Heat seem to have the same amount of rustiness.

Also, that year the Bulls lost like 9 games in a row, and same with the Heat. Both teams ended up making the playoffs their respective years, and the Mavs ended up having the best record in the league last season after an 0-4 start.

Plus the Mavs started out 0-4, and you remember how their regular season turned out last year.
