NFL: CAROLINA (4-3) at TENNESSEE (5-2) <h3>Titans look to get offense rolling against Panthers</h3> Carolina (4-3) at Tennessee (5-2) Sunday 1:00 pm EDT NASHVILLE, Tennessee (Ticker) -- The Tennessee Titans keepwinning despite an offense that has had a hard time reachingthe end zone. Quarterback Vince Young looks to bounce back from the worst gameof his brief career when the Titans host the Carolina Pantherson Sunday. Returning from an injured quad, the second-year quarterbackcompleted only 6-of-14 passes for 42 yards in last week's 13-9victory over the Oakland Raiders. He rushed for a meager 11yards on seven carries. In the last four games, the Titans have scored only fivetouchdowns. But they won three of them, thanks to Rob Bironis,who has converted 13-of-14 field goals during that stretch. Tennessee managed only 218 yards of offense against the Raiders,with 192 of that total coming on the ground. The Titans havenot scored a passing touchdown since September 24 against theNew Orleans Saints. "We're not happy with the lack of points and the lack oftouchdowns, but we definitely had some opportunities (Sunday)and couldn't take advantage of them," Titans coach Jeff Fishersaid. Still, the Titans have done enough to win five of their firstseven games and are tied with the Jacksonville Jaguars forsecond place in the AFC South. With the Indianapolis Colts leading the division at 7-0, theTitans and Jaguars likely are battling for a wild card spot.Tennessee hosts Jacksonville next week in the finale athree-game homestand. The Panthers, who were drubbed by the Colts, 31-7, last week,would love to have the Titans' problems. After starting two games, Vinny Testaverde's run in Carolinacould be over after the 43-year-old quarterback suffered aninjured Achilles' tendon against the Colts. Testaverde was replaced by David Carr, who has been bothered byback problems and still is not at 100 percent himself. Carrcompleted 16-of-25 passes in relief of Testaverde but threw foronly 103 yards. Starting quarterback Jake Delhomme is out for the season afterundergoing elbow surgery earlier this month. "This is the hand we're dealt, and so we just do our best to getthe guys ready," Carolina coach John Fox said. Despite the quarterback issues, the Panthers are in first placein the weak NFC South - one-half game ahead of the Tampa BayBuccaneers (4-4)
