<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE (ehmunro)</div><div class='quotemain'>Actually, the people so quick to cut the Colts some slack now were referring to another team as the "most evil in NFL history" just a few weeks ago. Funny how time alters thse perceptions, eh? Some of us just shrugged at the event and noted that cheating is universal. And lo and behold, we was [sic] right. The funniest part of this is the fact that thethistimeit's unctious Dungy and Polian getting caught with their trousers around their ankles. There were no game changing bullshit calls against the Colts. Nuns [sic]. This isn't unique to their games against New England, either. As I've stated previously, teams have been complaining about this for two and a half years now.</div></p>

Everybody cheating and the Pats being the most evil team in NFL history aren't mutually exclusive.</p>

I'll just note that the same people who thought the videocamera seized in the middle of the first quarter was an epic moment, and that that instance cheating was a major, and unique problem, are now suddenly convinced that it's no longer a big deal. Me? I never thought it was a big deal. I will take pleasure in watching Dungy & Polian squirm after their moral self-righteousness earlier this year, though. It'll be akin to watching Jimmy Swaggert's suffering after his trysts with hookers. </p>

Such a witty retort. What's next? Your mama? I really don't mind a lively debate, but what's the point in a post like this?</p>

I wasn't even putting it to you I thought I was on the other page talking to the Bears fan so suck you and your mother.</p>

Your post directly followed one of mine and there was no clue as to who you were talking to, so, if you really want to hurt people's feelings here are a couple of suggestions. Leave some sort of clue as to the identity of the poster that you are addressing and find some new material. Right now, I can't muster the least little bit of contempt over your posts unless I think about the time that I've wasted reading this crap. Of course, it also helped that I had my force field up.</p>

<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE (DolfanDale)</div><div class='quotemain'>1. I have said in seasons prior that dominate teams don't let zebras decide the outcome of games. You are saying that the only reason that the Colts were in the game was because of the zebras. I say, if the Patriots are so awesome, a couple of bad calls wouldn't have mattered. It's not like the Patriots haven't gotten their fair share of calls in big games. The tuck rule is the first thing that jumps to mind.</div></p>

ThePatriotsdidn't.Incaseyoumissedit, theywon, in spite of the fact that the zebras spotted the Colts 13 points, killed New England drive (with the non-interference call on the linebacker that Kevin Faulk seemed to be wearing instead of his jersey), and killed another drive. All the referees were ultimately able to do was hold the margin of victory down. The Colts should be worried, with four to five absolutely game changing calls running in their favour, playing at home, they still couldn't beat New England. If I'm the Colts, I'm thinking "How the fuck are we gonna keep up with these guys on the road if the calls even out?"</p>

Also, Seattle lost the Superbowl, this is more akin to the Steelers complaints after they beat the Colts on their way to the Superbowl. The Steelers WRs and DBs drew interference calls galore, while the Colts DBs, who pretty much commit either interference or illegal downfield contact on every single play, didn't get whistled once. As noted, even national reporters are telling you you're full of shit here. It's not just New England games where this happens. The Colts have been getting this sort of help in every game for the last two and a half years. Did Polian get promoted to head of the competition committee or something? </p>

<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE (DolfanDale)</div><div class='quotemain'>2. If the Colts are pumping in crowd noise, then someone should report them and the NFL should investigate. I saw two Colts games in the mid-90s and I never heard anything fake. Granted that was 10 years ago and I was up in the stands, regardless, I'm not going to take the word of some amatuer rumor sheet regarding the subject. I want to hear that from a legit source.</div></p>

First, you acting as though the Colts have been caught cheating. They haven't. The NFL is investigating the matter and, if the Colts are guilty, then they should be punished. I won't argue that. Until then, I'm not going to accept those allegations until they are fact. PFW is nothing to me. How do I know that they didn't doctor the recording to make a name for themselves? I try to get my news for more legit sources.</p>

You can use symbols or the actual cuss words all you want, it doesn't make you any more right that if you could raise your voice. By the way, you can keep up the accusations of "home cooking" but that's not how the NFL works. NFL officials are only allowed to work the same teams' games twice a year and there has to be several weeks between those games. So, it's not like the Colts have the same officials all the time to give them "phantom" calls whenever they need them. Personally, I just think the Patsies should just quit farting and blaming it on the dog.</p>

Sure they were. Everyone watching the game heard the sound loop. It was there. You can bury your head in the sand and it doesn't change the fact that there was a crowd noise sound loop. As the complaints about Colts DBs have come around the league, and one can simply tune into any Colts' games and watch the number of tackles their DBs make prior to the ball's arrival this isn't really open to argument either. It's happened. It's been happening.

This thing about the Colts crowd noise is starting to gather steam. Perhaps, perhaps... could it be that dominant sports teams are always looking for an edge? Cuz that would be really bizarre.</p>

In any case, if this crowd noise thing is true (which it sure seems like), it'll be interesting to see if there's still a sign flaunting Indy's "integrity."</p>

I'll guess I'll be more mature about this. I'm sorry I thought I pressed the quote button and I didn't. I'm truely and sincerely sorry that you think everything I've typed is crap and taken a split second out of your day.</p>

I wish I could be as perfect as you being 40 and all.</p>

I'm not a Patriots fan. But I am getting weary of all this "cheating" stuff. No matter what that guy, Bellicheck does, you have to beat them on the field. Once the ball is snapped, Bellicheck can't help, regardless of what he did or does on the sly.</p>

Beating the Pats is a very simple proposition. At some point, preferably early on, you send somebody to Concuss Mr. Brady. You take the 15 yards, and you play the rest of the game against Matt Cassel.</p>

Without Brady (not Bellicheck) the Pats become the Rams. Bellicheck can be replaced in this equation, and the Pats will still kick everybody's butts.Just a matter of time before some team figures this out. I was surprised Sean Taylor didn't get cut loose on Brady during the Redskins game, but, that aint Joe Gibbs.</p>

You would have to get to Brady first. The Colts are the first team that has actually hit him this year and they don't need to knock out Brady to have a chance to win a game against the Patriots.</p>
