Its not unheard of.. Detroit has all the Talent to win 10+ even be a contender for the ring.. if they can stay healthy and play as a team instead of as individuals..

Ya the national media is having a field day with this... I think it is funny that the reason that people don't think we can do it is because of the guy that made the prediction...

Another part of the interview was that he and Martz sat down and watched the film of last year and determined that only 8 of his INT's were his fault... There is some credibility to that because of how Martz runs his offense but 8 is a bit low I would say...

2 questions; 1) Has Kitna suffered a concussion recently or 2) has he been hanging out w/ Ricky W?

There must be something in the water in the Lions facility. Remember Roy Williams' bold predictions last year. [IMG]

Someone spiked the water, and not with a football.

1 There is a very good chance he is a little punch drunk after getting sacked 63 times last year... I wouldn't rule out concussion...

2 He is a devout Christian, so much so that he gives out autographed footballs with bible passages on them... I doubt he is on any kind of mind altering drugs... So Ricky is out...

3 There might be something in the water... They don't call Martz the mad scientist for nothing...

Didn't Mike Furrey make a prediction also?

You never know, especially in a weak division like the NFC North, its up for grabs just about every year. If the Lions have any form of running game watch out.

Truth be told I think the Lions are going to win 6 or 7 games but 10 to 12 is ridiculous. Why can't the Lions keep their mouths shut and go out and play football? Roy Williams last year. Mike Furrey and Kitna this year.

They got asked the question... What are they supposed to say? I'm kind of glad that they actually answered the question...

Furrey said that on paper they are a 10-12 win team...

At this point I think they are a 7 to 9 win team... I like where we are going...

Statements like Kitna's are one of the reasons why the NFL is taking a hard line in dealing with concussions.

And the pension issue would be much better, but...
