Nov 5 - Raptors forward Jorge Garbajosa is angry and frustrated over his lack of playing time this year.

"I don't know," he said, when asked why he has averaged only seven minutes in the team's first three games. "I practise normally. I play in the European championships. I am fine. Everything is normal."

For his part, head coach Sam Mitchell saw red when asked about Garbajosa before yesterday's game against Boston.

"Players play based on the game and how we need them," the coach said. "Garbo is fine, and the last time I checked, counting (yesterday), we have 80 games to play." -- Toronto Sun

I dunno about that. The title was about him being angry and his only quote is, "I practise normally. I play in the European championships. I am fine. Everything is normal,". The question wasn't even if he was angry or not. Show me the anger or provide a link. I'm not buying it two games into the season. Was this by Ganter or Buffery?

Its from the Sun so I'm holding off on a reaction. Their headlines always exaggerate everything.

That said, if Garbo is frustrated with his place on this team, you have to believe it'd affect Jose Calderon's decision at the end of the year.

Once again the Toronto Sun is publishing gutter journalism. To call that rag a paper is a stretch.

    speeds furious over thread!

"When asked about the Garbajosa thread, speeds said "this is the thread I am looking at."

All signs point to a meltdown on the Raptors forum. "This thread right here is the one I'm reading," continued speeds. "There isn't really anything more to say about that."

At this point a trade to another forum might be the only way to prevent full-scale anarchy in the Raptos forum."

Lol at speeds and the Toronto Sun. I bet Garbo was just like "I would like a little more time, but I happy with were we are going." And the guy from the Sun probably bust in to the editoral room like in the Simpsons and asked "Who can take a story and blow it out of proportion?!?!".

I dont think the raptors brass was too happy at Garbo playing for spain in the summer. Especially since raptors doctors recommended rest. I woulden't be suprised if this is BC and Sams way of payback in a slight form.

I can see why, being a starter last year to a bench player that gets garbage minutes this year...

Throw in one of those fancy Izod's I can fill with hundreds of songs and it's a deal (someone whispers in shookem's ear that Izod has nothing to do with playing music) ... well never mind then. Thanks to Smitch and BC we are well dressed enough.

Seriously though, you gotta imagine a big trade involving the Raps wouldn't have them sending quality ballers to a division rival.

But just so I know, what kind of chips where we talking about?
