For those of us who post at work, there needs to be some way to either shut off the user pics that appear at the side of the post. While I enjoy staying at scantily clad women as much as the next straight male, the work place isn't the place to do such a thing. There needs to be an option to shut that off or there needs to be better screening of what is posted.</p>
Anyone have anything on this?</p> Additionally, the worst user pic (possibly even the only bad one) that I have seen is from a moderator. Were I someone who had more significant issues with the objectification of women, seeing that from a member of the leadership of the site would drive me away from this site.</p>
We're going to have a feature where you'll be able to choose whether you want to view avatars or not.</p> But I'll leave it to one of the admins or gms to say more on this matter.</p> I understand your concern though, just so you know.</p>
Its certainly a fair complaint agoo, but like CK said there's unfortunately no short-term fix we can offer you immediately.</p> My two cents: I never really understood the NSFW concept. I mean, its part of my work ethic that you shouldn't be surfing the net or going on sports two when you're on the clock in the first place ;-)</p> That being said I know that most people don't feel the same way I do. The guys who run the site are working on solutions to help you out agoo</p>
Sorry I didn't see this thread earlier. We plan to do an overhaul of the message board to give users a lot more options to set (including turning off images) and plenty of other bells and whistles. There will be an official announcement with more detail once we get further along in the process. I'll also ask the staff member if he can modify his graphic.</p>

When I worked in a regularoffice, I only surfed around during my lunch hour. Currently, I'm working at a college so I'm on the clock whenver someone calls me and most of what I do is outside of the office and outside of the regular 9 to 5. Its not like I'm on S2 while students are coming in to talk to me, just when I'm sitting there with nothing to do (which is often).</p>

Can't wait for this to be implemented! Unfortunately, I can't be on the forum when there are so many images on my screen, while I'm at work. Don't want my boss to think I'm not doing any work....</p>
