CBS says that the sound that fans heard on their TVs was feedback in the truck and not a sound heard in the stadium. You may put down your tiki torches and pitchforks and get a good night's sleep.

Hmmm. Joe Gibbs' Redskins play the Patriots and he get his character assassinated for not shaking Bill Belicheat's hand despite photographic proof that he did, in fact, shake his hand. Tony Dungy's Colts play the Patriots and Dungy gets his name drug through the mud for participating in an act that never occured. Anyone noticing a trend? Does Dick Jauron have anything to be worried about? Oh, crap! The Patriots play the Eagles in three weeks. Just when Andy Reid thought life couldn't get any tougher. Poor guy.

My biggest gripe with Tony Dungy was never the crowd noise allegations, it was his support of that anti-gay rights group in Indy.

Help me out here guys. Is there an actual rule governing the "loudness" of a stadium ?

There's a rule that says you cant use electronic devices to spy on your opponent, but this one with the noise is new to me.

Tony Dungy is an American, right? If he feels that homosexuality is wrong, then he has the right to let his voice be heard in the arena of public discourse. As long as he isn't committing or advocating violence against homosexuals, then I don't see what the problem is. What kills me are liberals thatrun around claiming "tolerance" when they only they will truly tolerateare people who have the sameopinions that they have.

It's against the rules to use audio equipment to pump noise into a stadium. The Washington Redskins were fined for doing so back in 2000. I can see why. It would be a great advantage to pump the volume while your opponent has the ball and then turn it down when you get the ball back.

The accusation is that the Colts were piping noise in over a CD or something. That's not allowed.

I assume you're trying to be funny here?

If you heard the audio from the game, it's obvious why they brought it up. It stilll seems a little fishy to me but I'm satisified that its somewhat cleared up.

Perspective truly is a funny thing (Thanks BA). That was on my list of reasons I admire Dungy. I think Dale summed it up nicely. Dungy is entitled to his views wheter they are different than mine and yours or not. I admire him for having the courage to stand up for what he believes is right on a subject that is very volitile.

That being said, I still don't like the Colts. As long as they have a Tennessee alumni at QB, I just can't root for them. It has been hard enough to live with the fact that Kansas City drafted Dustin Colquitt.

Milk that 15 minutes of fame that Kentucky football is getting there, KC. Can you believe both Kansas & UK football are tearing it up in the same season?

I guess the 4 Horsemen (No Dale. Not Flair, Arn, & crew) are polishing up their saddles. It'll be great comfort to the pats fans to know they'll be riding Colts. lol?

I heard what sounded like an echoing crowd noise during the game....my immediate thoughts were of the accusation that the Colts have been pumping in noise for years....if it was true, I was coming on here to blast the Colts and call for them to forfiet a 1st round pick because that would be as bad, in my opinion, as the cheating the Patriots admitted to....but I do buy CBS's story because they have no reason to lie for the Colts, if anything, they would run with the story if they thought it was true....
