- Josh Boone seems to have fallen off the rotation completely. I hope he works his way back in, he was horrible though.

    - Wright is eating up a lot of Boki's minutes, rightfully so. Boki didn't come in until the 2nd quarter today.

    - Malik Allen and Magloire are going back and forth in minutes. I'm guessing its depending on the match up.

    - Krstic is not ready for prime time. Hes getting there but I don't feel comfortable having him out there starting.

As the Nets were heading towards the locker room, I caught a glance of Boone's face. He was clearly upset, but what do you expect? If you can'y contribute, you shouldn't be given minutes.

I see Boone getting more playing time when Marcus comes back, those two are exciting together. Marcus + Boone + Sean...wow! anyway, Kidd in complete control again. another show stopping play with the pass from the announce table to RJ for the dunk. Really glad to see Wright consitantly awesome, and RJ too.

Im surprised Sean didnt play tonight. I thought he would match up well against the Hawks.

    Thanks for pointing that out.

I think Coach Frank feels that it's still a bit risky to put in Sean Williams, mainly because the score was close throughout most of the game. I would have liked to see him play, but safety first.

I see Boone getting playing time if Magloire, Collins, Allen,or Krstic go down.

Yeah I want the rookie to get experience, but not in these close games. Thats when you want your veterans and your best players out there.

I missed the game tonight, but Frank's idea of not starting rookies doesn't make much sense. Sean Williams will be able to contribute if he actually gets game experience. We have enough vets around him to carry us as the rookie gets acclimated.

Kristic is still very young. He's been in the league for a while so people forget that. He's going to be big time for us eventually.

Frank used a smaller, athletic, good shooting lineup against the Hawks. It worked. The Nets won, beating them by more than the Piston did two nights ago. I can't care about Boone if he can't contribute. Right now, small ball is working nicely. The Nets outrebounded a team with a lot of young, athletic bigs, shut down Joe Johnson for most of the game and won.

Yeah, I noticed that, and was pleasantly surprised. Seems as if the defense was great...but Vince was still off. Great to see Jefferson, Wright, and Kidd playing great as usual, tho.

Frank should use Sean more, if he has used Wright well, then Wright always being better now.

    Another observation:

    - Magloire could pass the ball in the low-post, he is not the guy that many people think he doesn't pass.

Still seems Boki hasn't recovered from whatever was bothering him in the playoffs last year. He looked a lot better in preseason, but you have to do it when the games count. Hopefully he just needs to hit an open shot or two to get going again. Nachbar has to be one of the guys that picks it up and hits some shots, especially if Carter is struggling.

    - Though Vince's lack on offense, he has been great on the defensive side. Look at the opposing gaurd and does not score that much to under what he puts in.

boone's problem is that his hands have been horrible. any pass that came close to him he just couldnt hold onto and with us having a couple of veterans on this team he cannot make those mistakes consistantly.

Plus he's weak, gets outrebounded, can't pass, soft, can't finish unless he's WIDE open.
