I heard they offered him an extension but he declined it.</p> Dumb move by Telfair, he should have taken anything.</p>
I assume the extension was a low-ball one-year deal, and Telfair wants to prove he's worthwhile for more than that. I think he can. However, I do agree that it was very surprising to see him turn anything down. I hope he succeeds... he's a good guy, loves the game. Come on Bassy, show me what you got!</p>
I wonder if this will pay off for Telfair, I doubt it will but then again as CB32 said, it could have been a horrible offer.</p>
