Nov 7 - Former Bulls guard Jay Williams has no plans to resume his basketball career. Williams is working for a fitness company, doing motivational speaking and wants to advance in the business world, according to agent Kevin Bradbury.

The No. 2 pick of the 2002 draft, Williams attempted an NBA comeback last season after taking three years to recover from serious injuries he suffered in a motorcycle accident on Chicago's North Side. -- Arlington Heights Daily Herald

It's a real shame. I was a huge Jay Williams fan when he was at Duke, and I think he had stardom written all over him. It's a real shame that he had to get into that accident, and it's even more of a shame that he doesn't have a comeback in him. I wish him luck with whatever he does from here on out.

On a similar note, any word on Dajuan Wagner or how he's doing overseas?

He's an arrogant idiot. Not that I wish harm on anybody, but him getting into that accident can be attributed to karma.

Loser set the Bulls franchise back a bit.

He was a jerk to Bulls fans throughout his short career.

In addition, a few days before the accident, Marcus Fizer told Williams to stop riding the bike, and the beligerant Williams ignored Fizer's warning.

I remember hearing how Jay Williams was a guaranteed "sure thing" coming out of school.

Then he really struggled in his first season. Too bad we never got to see him play under Skiles.
