Spoilers: WWE SmackDown! Tapings from Bakersfield
Thanks to Andy for sending these in, stay tuned later for a more detailed report! I attended SD live from Bakersfield CA, so here's some quick match results. Order may not be entirely right. The Major Brothers won a tag team battle royal to earn a title shot later "tonight." Other teams were Deuce/Domino, Jesse/Festus, Drew McIntyre/Dave Taylor and Jimmy Wang Yang/Shannon Moore. The Majors eliminated Deuce/Domino for the win. Victoria w/Kenny beat Michelle McCool w/Chuck Palumbo. Victoria won with a DDT. Finlay beat Rey Mysterio after knocking Rey off the top rope as Rey was about to hit a West Coast Pop and hitting the Celtic Cross. Match had to have gone around 20 minutes, really good stuff. CM Punk beat Jaime Noble. Afterwards, the Miz attacked Punk and John Morrison attacked Miz, leading to a three way brawl. Punk won the day, but was laid out by Noble. MVP/Matt Hardy beat The Major Brothers to retain. The Undertaker beat The Great Khali in a No Holds Barred match. No weapons were used, Taker won with a Triangle choke.

Spoilers: WWE SmackDown! WWE wouldn't have debuted him with wins over Carlito and thrown him into the mix with Kennedy and Hardy on RAW if they were planning to suspend him on November 1st. The fact that Harry's father, British Bulldog died in part due to long term steroid abuse and the fact that Harry was so close to Chris Benoit had people shaking their heads at the situation all week. Those close to the situation say Vince McMahon was caught off guard by Harry's suspension. When he returns from his 30 day suspension, he will be in a role similar to that of Rob Van Dam, like a lame duck for a few months or so. When Vince spoke to the WWE creative team immediately following the suspensions, he basically said Harry wouldn't be punished when he returns, but he also won't be pushed hard yet. As far as Chris Masters go, people within the company don't believe that this is only his second strike.
Harry Smith's Suspension, Return Push; Vince Shocked, More
Brooke's Release; Melina/Vince Heat Over Furry Boots, More
Partial Source: F4Wonline.com - Sources say Brooke also had a backstage altercation with Melina at RAW over furry boots. Apparently Melina is the one who wears the funny boots on RAW, and Brooke tried wearing them as well and it created some problems. Vince McMahon was actually upset at Brooke for being ignorant about the issue and not protective of Melina's gimmick. There is a belief that Melina went to Vince and complained, then Vince made the call to axe Brooke. Johnny Ace was one of her strongest supporters and fought hard for her to stay with the company. When she was first hired, she was to be one of the Funkette Dancers when Flash Funk returned. Ace paid for her dance lessons and everything. Of course that angle never went through and Ace always pushed hard for her to debut on all three of the WWE brands which became a running joke in the company because Brooke really didn't have much going for her. Also, it appears she had heat similar to that of Kristal Marshall, as she was rubbing people backstage the wrong way with her behavior. Sources say from day one she was considered a problem and she made it a point to draw attention to herself. She was considered an expendable talent and with not much going for her, WWE felt it was time for her to go. With the turnover rate of women in WWE, especially this time of year with the Diva Search contestants being brought in, her release didn't come as a surprise to most within the company.
Brooke's Release; Melina/Vince Heat Over Furry Boots, More

More News and Notes From Last Night's WWE SD! After the Undertaker/Khali match, JBL comes in the ring talking crap to The Undertaker and says that unlike the Great Khali he says that he has a victory over The Undertaker and says that he may be retired but he's not dead. The Undertaker comes in the ring and chokeslams JBL and then he Tombstoned him and said Batista is next. Overall it was a good show I think that everyone worked really hard tonight and it paid off so I will give the show a 10/10 just being there live was cool. The arena was 95% full tonight and the crowd was very hot. There also were several backstage promos that I didn't see in your report. One with Mysterio, one with Punk/Vickie/Noble and some others. Also, Batista cut a promo wishing Undertaker luck against Khali. He also said he would be facing Undertaker next week on SmackDown. RAW had an average of 5,198,000 viewers. WWE had been hoping for a higher number than previous weeks with the returns of their biggest draws. A lot of promotion surrounding DX and Austin was done last week and it looks like it paid off. WWE would like this number to be higher obviously, but it's a step in the right direction and up from previous weeks.
This Week's RAW Rating; Did DX and Austin Help Out?

Stephanie Reading Moolah's Eulogy, Maryse Update, More News
 - Stacy Keibler celebrated her 28th birthday on 10/20 at the LAX Nightclub in Las Vegas, NV. - SmackDown's Maryse is down training in Tampa, FL at WWE's developmental territory, Florida Championship Wrestling. Yeah Snitsky is one of my favs, he just freakin kills them in the ring lol. WWE is saying that there is 75% sure that Jericho will return to WWE on November 19. Hopefully its true I mean I really don't know what the guys problem is right now. Or what the hell is he doing, he keeps saying he will return for sure, next he says he will only return with his terms...Sense his book signing will be finished by November 15, I hope he will come back after that.
