Now dat da celtics destroyed da Nuggets, they now 3-0 and feelin' themselves. They have a big ass test onn Saturday against NETS, the future ECC(yup, yall heard me).Do yall think dat if we beat em,its gon be a BIG win 4 us or a regular 1, and get mad props from analysts?
Im from Boston,I got 2 bets of $25 each against em.......................VC,better gets sum steroid 4 dis game

It's going to be a very interesting game. You know, if we happen to lose, I guess I'll be content with that. Slightly disappointed, but not in a rage. If we happen to get blown out in some way, that's when I'll truly be pissed.

The Celtics have some real firepower. They're a formidable opponent.
That said, the Nets have a lot of experience going up against BOS and throttling them. BOS will likely be without Doc Rivers who is attending his father's funeral the same day.

I say we beat the celtics farther down in the season, but we're just not playing up to par right now.

The Celtics haven't played any good defensive teams, heck they haven't played any mediocre defensive teams yet, but they still have looked terrific. Everyone is going to have to be on top of their games for us to beat the them, which probably isn't going to happen. I am very curious to see how Wright does defensively against Paul Pierce and Ray Allen though. Pierce is probably too strong for him but I can see him defending Allen pretty well.

They're a tough offensive team to defend against, but their defense has really suprised IMO. Best in the NBA? I didn't expect that. They really are something to watch.

they celtics are riding on a lot of emotion because the big3 are all in a better situation than they were previous years and feel they can win a title this year. they all got hyped up and are running on adrenaline. i want to see how they play when they hit a skid and see how they play when they need their bench. they have some names but im still not sold on their bench, but when you throw KG in there your lucky you dont need the greatest bench.

When BOS gets into the heart of the season and plays elite teams like SAS and others, that'll be the real test. Early season means very little.
As for this upcoming contest, NJNhas a good chance toprevail if Coach Lawrence Frank does his job. The Nets are a very talented and deep squad that has a lot of experience, chemistry and moxie when beating BOS.

I don't think its relevant to say that we've had a great run against the Celtics, the team is very different than what we've played against in the past

I hope we can win the game against them, but Vince has to adjust himself to another better situation.
I hope we will have a 5-1 start this season at least.

the key to saturday: let RJ and VC keep on doing their drives and let Garnett pick up the fouls. we'll be good.
I hate seeing us lose but if we pull a close one against them, it'll be half ok. Scal has been given so much minutes for Boston that he might eventually drop15 on us!

Boston has averaged 106ppg and held opponents to a little bit over 90ppg. It's going to be a tough game. After KG they are pretty thin inside, I say we let Krstic come off the bench and do some damage when KG sits.

have to keep KG on the bench. Wright on Allen. Carter on Pierce. Nenad needs to ride the pine, he's just not ready.
We need big play from Boki, and Big Cat needs to rebound big (maybe get a tech).
I hope we have Eddie House's number...I guess his house number.. .
Also anyone else can step up: Boone (lol) Allen (maybe).
I hope we can create some mismatches with a small lineup, and yeah, Kidd need to torch from outside (14-20 points)
