I am VERY happy with Noah's play tonight. I always felt he was NBA ready and would quickly be an impact player.

Nice first half. The Bulls did a good job in the paint offensively, getting to the rim and working hard on the offensive glass. Chicago's bigs have been moving the ball pretty well, too, although I'd like to see a bit more movement from the guards rather than Duhon/Kirk overdribbling and/or taking unnecessary pull-ups. Detroit isn't going quietly though. They aren't even playing that well, and they're still in this game. They need to attack more, though. I think they might be settling a little too much and not taking it strong to the rack at all. I expect Detroit to be much more aggressive here in the second half.

Also, can a Bulls fan please fill me in on why Tyrus holds 4 fingers up after he scores?

Yeah, he looked pretty nice out there. I think on the whole we match up well with the Pistons inside, because they're not particularly beefy either (although Sheed is looking kind of chunkified these days).

My wife is Brazilian by birth, thank you. And she was present and accounted for all of last night.

Then again, so were 3 other Brazilian girls and a skinny 6'9" millionaire, so maybe I should have paid more attention to what was going on.

Oh wait, that's not my wife... it's Sam Smith's. That'd explain a lot.
