The last two summers, Melo has been the best player on Team USA only to come back to the Nuggets and play at a lower level. What is it that changes for him that he regresses when he takes off the Team USA jersey?</p>
Could it be that the level in the NBA is much higher than when team USA plays other countries, and he can basically own them.</p>
