The Nets played some bad basketball the 1st quarter, Toronto game bad. Good to see them bounce back.

I'm happy they got the W but I'm not happy with the game. Vince needs to pick it up, we can't ride RJ as our only reliable scorer out there much longer.

    LOL to RJ's comments.
BTW, wonder what JKidd and Arenas talked about? Seemed pretty serious... Probably tlaking about Arenas' surgically repaired knee.

haven't won a game by being down by 20 since 2002! whether we win by 1 or 100, a win's a win, and that's all that matters.

OMFG, what was Gilbert thinking? Who takes that shot, this is unbelievable. We had a 20 point lead and blew it, this team's the most streaky offensive team i've ever seen. I'm so pissed off despite me predicting a close loss all this time. Antonio Daniels was WIDE OPEN.

Seeing us win another one makes me feel extra good. Bad decision by Arenas, I understand what he was trying to do, but he just put himself in a bad position.

Damn, today's game was interesting. I figured we would be blown out again, but the Nets kept fighting, exactly how an elite team would. Looking back at the last season, usually when we would be down by 15+, it would seem like we would just competely give it up. Today the Nets played with intensity even when things weren't going their way. That's a definite positive, and that's going to separate this season from last season.

It was great to see them playing fierece even when down by 20. I think tonight, they proved to themselves that they can overcome these obstacles, whereas they didn't feel that way against Toronto.

Don't get me wrong, i liked what magloire did defensively tonight....but the man is the worst offensive player on the team. He can't control a pass to him under the basket, hit a shot more than 4 feet out, or finish simple dunks in transition. Terrible, terrible, even Collins can get the occassional put back.

the ending sequence with GA taking a long, tough 3 instead of passing out of the double reminded me of our D on Kobe when he was here where vince played great D on him and had a hand in his face. antoine and vince played great tag team during the final play of the game.

vince getting to the line and hitting FTs was huge and the turning point of the game for me. we were getting easy points with the wiz comitting some stupid fouls or ticky tack fouls that got vince to the line and vince was aggressive.

there were a few parts of teh game where we had the lead then gave it up and the wiz went up by 3 or 4 and i thought with us fighting back we might fall short but all those times this team toughed it out and kept battling and we won the game. that was extremely encouraging to me. we are 4-1 which is great, but we could easily have the reverse record if we were last years team. i think last years team we would have lost 2 out of 3 of these tough close games. too bad we didnt fight against toronto, maybe we could have been 5-0.

BRING ON BOSTON! can't wait for saturday! place better be jumpin

I think this is the same thing that the Blazers fans dealt with. He should be in dunking shape by January or somethin. He usually starts off the season slow, and gets it going by mid-season.
