We are a solid winning team right now and we aren't even playing our best basketball. RJ, Wright, and Kidd are about the only players playing to their full potential. Lets be honest Carter is going to slump the entire season, he'll be back soon enough. If we are winning now just imagine what our team will be like when VC is back up to par, Boki adjusts to playing PF instead of SF, Marcus Williams comes back, Sean Williams gets some playing time, Kristic works his way back into condition, Armstrong gets used to Jersey, and Magloire starts playin big and gets his minutes over crappy Jason Collins. I think we will have a GREAT team down the stretch (As long as there are no major injurys).

Good observation; its given me promise during our horrid play so far.
If we beat the wizards tonight we would start 4-1 playing absolutely sh** basketball; then all we have to do is start beating serious teams. Still, It's keeping me from jumping off a cliff

I have to agree. Though we are not looking good as a team together, least we aren't being crushed by buzzer beaters like so many times last year.

Excellent post 51, a 10/10 I would only add that Jason Collins got his first score of the season vs. ATL, so he's gonna have another monster season. Oh, and Malik is not bad. And two open roster spots bode well for any adjustments to be made.

this is a great sign. a friend and I were talking today, he's a Bulls fan and the team we both fear of course is Boston. However, he made a good point- he said "they'll probably be like Dallas, have a great season but choke in the playoffs" . This is where defense comes into play, and we're stepping it up with ours.

Just the other day the Celtic scored almost 70 points before it was even half-time!! And they really don't lack defense at all they are actually an elite defensive team, in the same game that they scored 60 somethin before half they also had over 20 steals and a bunch of blocked shots.. We better come prepared.

they had a hot night and took advantage of denver's loss at the garden the night before. either way, it's not going to be easy. but, let's face it, if either Pierece, Allen, or Garnett get injured, Boston's done (especially if it's Garnett)
Let's not wish an injury befalls any of the teams in the league.
I am also not afraid of the Celtics mainly because of lack of bench. Their top bench players won't even make it to the Nets' rotation.

I was just saying that should he get injured (don't want him to get injured) then Boston will be in trouble. then again, same can be said about our big 3. sorry for the misunderstanding.

Here's something I picked up from yesterday's broadcast:
The Nets start of 4-1 (this was announced during the Boston game) is the best start in franchise history.
And we still haven't come close to hitting our groove.
