Nov 8 - Chris Wilcox just turned 25 and is considered one of the league's emerging power forwards, and that prompted him to fire agent Jeff Fried and replace him with Jeff Schwartz.

"I just needed new representation," said Wilcox, who led Seattle with 21 points. "I had developed a friendship with (Schwartz) three or four years ago and he stayed in touch with me. When I fired my agent, he was the guy that I really trusted. That's the guy who I went with."

"This is for the future; it was more of a business move," he said. "Fried and those guys who I was with, they were good guys, I have nothing bad to say about them. It was nothing personal. I just wanted to put myself in the best situation to grow." -- Seattle Post-Intelligencer
